Lol spare me. 8 weeks of wafl just to play a full game is pretty average work. They should be copping the blame for his consistent injuries. Look at Stephen Hill as another example of poor medical management. You're not crazy, you just think the club can do no wrong.
Yeah I'm sure a random bloke on the internet with almost certainly no medical qualifications or even any contact with the player in question knows better when it is the best time to play an extremely injury prone footballer at the highest level again.

I'm sure taking over 2 years to get his body right, which is still in question, where the player has played 2 AFL games and a handful of WAFL games deserves a f***ing applaud. Congrats to our medical team, how many seasons in a row have we been hit hard with injuries? Couldn't possibly blame them though, I mean Stephen Hill constantly getting reinjured when he returns is purely back luck right? Maybe wake up and realize the club is capable of stuffing up.

If Ross is waiting on Harley being right to play midfield then God help us. A team that doesn't trouble the scoreboard.
I also dont enjoy watching SHill play like a P76.

That's how bone bruising is caused for the most part mate, in most cases its not like a a normal surface bruise that is caused by a knock or similar activity.

I have had bone bruising in my knee now for the best part of 4 months, caused from a slight twist while doing heavy squats. Recovery periods can be very extended.
He could have played with it without it potentially causing other issues, however it is extremely uncomfortable and takes away power and movement so he would have been borderline useless.
What does bone bruising feel like? Does the pain come and go? Triggered by movements? Loading? Inflammation?

It's ridiculous how you can't even melt in the melt thread isn't it. You don't see people questioning/melting in the positive thread.

Correct. You can melt in the melt thread and don’t think you can’t.

I have posted previously that folks need to respect the thread and allow people a place to be irrational. Repeat offenders that are arguing consistently with melters in this thread will end up with a thread ban.

There are 2 things that could really piss me off on Sunday, specially in light of my comment above. Firstly, if Ballantyne plays, and plays poorly. Secondly, if we show no ability to defend the Hawthorn style. If Chris Fagan can take the Hawthorn IP to Brisbane and unpick it, then surely with Hale and Guerra, it is about time Ross did.

That would require him to take on board what Hale and Guerra have to say about it.

Irrational!?!? Some of the most sane discussion on this board happens in this thread

such an easy gig isn't it. Make up rumours (with zero repercussions or consequences) for years that McGovern is interested in joining Freo and that Freo is prepared to throw a king's ransom at him, and then sink the boot in when he inevitably re-signs with the club that drafted him. The club that is already in his home state and currently contending for the flag. Which is what happens 99% of the time in that situation.

Bunch of cockroaches.

I met Hardie up at my footy club years ago. He told me he hated Freo from inception of the club.

No one is suppressing your views in this thread, merely discussing

Imagine how bland this board would be if everyone agreed with each other

Now have a ****ing :rainbow:

It comes and goes to a degree yes.

I can run, however with pain so it's not desireable.
Painful to fully bend and when your putting a heavy load on it, such as simply trying to stand up from the ground with a bent knee for example it can be excruciating for a moment.

It is mainly triggered from movement in my experience, especially from the fully bent position.

The proverbial "drovers dog" could have a done better job of managing the injuries of the two examples, SHill and Harley. One has been omitted 6 times this year with the same quad injury and played many games as if hampered by it. How is that good injury rehabilitation or management? Omitted four times last year for another soft tissue injury (calf?), so nothing changed.

While Harley was treated like a lab rat with the S&C programme getting his calf 40% stronger than anyone else's before it pulled again last year. Still hadn't done enough to get a game and RTB came out and said maybe we did the wrong thing. Ya think? This year two months to play one complete game at WAFL in a position that he's unlikely to play in AFL. Must be mucking with his head.

We have one extreme or the other with both ineffective. And people don't think we should be asking questions about the injuries that are occurring and rehab with many others?

Who do you ask? And do they give any sort of answer?

Funny enough I guess but .....THIS SORT OF SH*T...... Rosco .....is the sort of shit the normal Freo man in the street has to deal with so **** your just another game bullsh*t you smug f***ing Victorian career coach W[emoji572]️. Do whatever you have to do to retrieve our nuts you smarmy campaigner or you can do laps around the Optus concourse as West Corp are playing their home final in full Freo regalia and sans your f***ing sycophant bubble for protection while some crusty old hag behind you rings a bell and shouts

SHAME.....SHAME ......SHAME

so as you have a nice clear understanding of what it's like to be a Freo fan right about now !!!!

Ahhhh ...... good old melt thread

I feel much better

Thanks
