All the doom and gloom and panicing on this melt thread just needs to slow down a bit .Guys and Girls listen up and think a little bit . Yes we are 0 and 5 and yes early injuries are not helping but there are two sides to the situation we find ourselves in .
Fyfe out Mundy in .
Johnson out silvagni or Collins in
Balantyne out Langdon in .
Neale is running sore so Blakley now gets a go or DeBoer because of his experience and strength .
The injured players we will be missing for an extended time which means RTB has to get games into the understudies to see how good or bad they are .
The main thing here is that we get to see these fine young men against a quality team in Adelaide .The pressure will be intense not only in the skill area but in the physical area as well . The new guys get to play sooner than they were expecting .There is no expectations of a win so they won't get disheartened or want to go home .
All the guys picked up on an AFL list want a chance to prove that they belong in the best 22 .They learn from playing not sitting in the outer watching others play.
They will get support from the established players .
Morabito ,Yarran ,Apeness and Bennell are not far away so please don't loose heart just yet . We are not a top 8 team right now but help is not far away .

Ross has alluded to this already -- Don't worry, he is going to bring in young players gradually.

Oh, I'm not worried. I know he has. I'm trying to elucidate to these Doomsday, Ross naysayers who think playing youth is some grand strategy, that they are misguided and why. They need to name a team who played unproven youth en masse and competed, let alone got a winning culture/flag window happening..

Were watching Essendon get smashed right now... afterall.

One thing that is disgraceful and piss poor about the club is that they put severely injured players back on the ground, like Fyfe and Johnson yesterday.

Agree.
It was upsetting to watch Johnson limping back onto the ground in the last.
To then find out today that Fyfe has broken his leg again and possibly from the same incident which sent him off initially, is infuriating.
Ballantyne got injured twice and should have been taken out of the game as well.

We have a history of doing it and not giving players enough time to recover from injuries .The only exception is Morabito .
Maynes ankle ,Fyfe shoulders and leg .

2016 is just brutal for Freo.

Injured Fyfe
Injured Sandi
Injured Johnson
Injured Mundy
Injured Bennell
Fully fit Mayne

lol its always the best that get injured at our club.

Coulda thanks for that.

**** that,we'll may as well ensure we are incredibly $hit and lock in the # 1 pick in the ND.

Does anyone know what this year's draft is going to be like?

Hopefully it has KPP depth especially at the top end. Then again we'd probably go for a midfielder rather than taking a punt on a tall, even if the tall has once-in-a-generation hype about him. Bond and the recruiting team want to make us into a team of midfielders: the process in nearly complete with the last KPP survivors Pav/Sandi/Johnson/Dawson/Griffith about to be phased out over the next 1 to 2 years.

How did A. Pearce get drafted? It must have been a mistake.

We need to improve our kicking accuracy for goal. Another week and another game where we spray left right and centre.

8.11 v west coast
11.14 v north
9.14 v carlton

Yes some of them were rushed but we are still woefully inaccurate when shooting on goal

Our delivery is still shit but we are making it look even worse by not capitalising on the limited opportunists that we do get

Josh Battle appears to be the best KPF at this early stage.
