Anyone else having a problem with all their friends suddenly turning into assholes when it comes to talking about the footy? I'm always the nicest person in the world when my friend's teams are going bad, but now I've got all the RTB haters and just flogs in general coming out of the woodwork. I don't know what they're trying to achieve. It's not like I'm going to go "oh yes, my team is bad, let me change to another one". Or do they just want to depress me even more?

No shit, yesterday I had a BRISBANE fan sledging me. Brisbane! We're having one bad year. And this guy goes for a team that rewards mediocrity. Seriously like... stfu

Yea Allikat we are all dealing with that and unfortunately when a team has a real chance of victory and then shows nothing in the last quarter it really brings on the haters. Gotta say I was pretty happy at 3 quarter time, pretty sure we where going to win and then totally destroyed by the pathetic last quarter.

But it is understandable, we won the most amount of games last year and now we can't win any, the team looks like a joke to outsiders. I think our rebuild will see us bounce back relatively quickly when our class comes back but there really is no excuse for not having won a game so we all get to wear it until we start performing.

Yep, that's what shits me. I don't want to be like a WC supporter so I'm not cocky at all when we are winning and rarely give out shit or talk us up too much but this year all the WC supporters are back to their cocky arrogant selfs and I remark geez you lot are chirpy now but I didn't hear much from you the few years when we were going well, and their response is that they're just getting back for all of the shit they got from me and other Docker supporters over the last few years. C****

Hardly a surprise that a team missing Sandi, Fyfe, Mundy, Bennell, Johnson & Alex Pearce loses to full strength Saints. We would have thrashed them with that lot in.
What's annoying hell out of me is how static & afraid of risk the experienced players are compared to the newer ones.
Watching Crozier bang it straight down the guts from a kick in & us go end to end showed up everything that's been wrong with us. Or Sutcliffe kicking backwards from forward of center to end up on the other side further away from goal & eventually a turnover. Or Pearce dithering while 3 players run forward of center only to chip it sideways. .
I said many times last year the team is broken mentally but we kept winning so nothing changed.
What's happening now needs to happen. Smash everything into bits & put it together different.

Weird thing is gu did the same thing playing for peel when under pressure. I afraid Ross previous game plan is so well drill for footsoldiers that they can't change their habit or don't have class to do so.clark did a backwards kick to Uber and landed near to ground and Uber under pressure can't mark it result in east freo goal. I don't mind player switch play but the disposal must be good.

Agree 100%. It's why I didn't get angry when Collins turned it over with his 1st kick trying to go into the corridor. At least he is willing to take a risk.

They sure are an offensive bunch of humans when it comes to supporting their footy side. I know so many great people that turn into complete flogs the minute they are talking football. Unbelievably I had one admit to me that us losing was as enjoyable as them winning. At least they were honest... Wow.

Collins got to know his limitations, kicking passes is not his strong point for the time being.

I openly agree with people and say we're shite. When we haven't won a game it's pretty hard to say anything in defence of the team bar injuries. It's also hard for someone to argue with you when you're agreeing with them. I also don't mind talking us up a bit when we're in form. Got to take the good with the bad.

Having to watch 'boring defensive low scoring footy' every week which Freo win has turned them into a different beast. In fairness we would be having a lot of fun too if they were having a season like ours but gee they are relentless. Going to be a bit of a hard slog from a derby rivalry pov for a while, but bringing up their horrendous GF embarrassment is still working a charm. Wipes the smile off their faces pretty quick.

I have never understood West Coast supporters who have this attitude. Anything any Freo supporter dished out to them over the last few years pales into comparison with what we had to put up with from them during those dark early years when they loved nothing more than beating up on "little brother".

Reading all the complaining about oppositiom fans giving it to us in Perth and Melbourne makes me think I'm glad I'm in Darwin at present.

I had a Melbourne fan a few months ago give it to me about Ross after I told him that I will see him at the Darwin game in my Freo colours. Did not even bait him at all just a drunken bravado idiot that fan was who wanted a dick swinging contest and now I am more discrete and selective about who I engage in footy discussion with.

I think Ross should warrant some criticism over his coaching at times but the chip on the shoulders that Victorians have on him is quite silly.
