Aside from Suban who was beyond terrible, I thought Sutcliffe and Griffin were also very bad. Barely noticed Sucliffe and each time I did it was an error. He only had the 8-9 touches. Griffin was a dead set liability, many of hit outs actually went to the advantage of Gold Coast.

I'm now thinking that one of our biggest needs is a good ruckman that can go forward. Either we see if GWS will swap our pick 3 for Lobbe/McCarthy or otherwise we use the pick on Tim English.

Griffin is nothing more than depth coverage and so is Suban.

Pretty sure I saw RTB (in the third) come down from the coaches box and blast Danyle Pearce (for a couple of blantant turnovers) and also blast Suban as well. He then coached out the majority of the game from the bench.

Midfield without Fyfe and Barlow just diabolical, especially defensively. Did we even win a clearance in the 3rd quarter.

I wouldn't say it was shocking.....we nearly beat Hawthorne in Prelim final.It was umpiring that changed the momentum.

What I am pissed off about this season is that we don't seem to have a consistent game plan. Last week against Geelong appeared to be more like last year.Then against Gold coast the plan and style seemed totally different.and bloody useless. The stoppage coach at centre bounces should be fired immediately . Our 1% acts like tackling shepherd blocking have totally disappeared. Kicking into our forward line is disgusting. We would be better off kicking along the ground than bombing. Are our forwards ever able to get in a position to lead at a player, they are always running backwards

Menagola starred for geelong yesterday but never got a chance at freo . Always thought he had some potential.....Another one we got wrong. We seem to pigeon hole players as a forward or back and fail to experiment with positions etc .Menagola was only ever tried as a tagger.

We bought in some Hawthorn IP this year in Hale and Guerra, fat lot of ****ing good that has done. Our skills have gone from poor to ****ing DIABOLICAL under these supposedly skills based coaches. Give me a ****ing break, I could kick better than some of the useless hacks running around there, and that is without input from the highly skilled coaches!

How the **** did Mundy end up as captain? Is this an indication that our players' voting IQ is right up there with their footy smarts? FMD the guy has gone from a pretty good midfielder to a captain who leads by example, and you can see what that example is. Lope around at half pace, get caught with the ball and if by some chance you do find yourself in the open, kick it to the ****ing opposition!

What the **** is with all the injuries? The strength and conditioning guys must be getting their strategies of Google, because whatever the **** they are doing is just plain ****ing WRONG! We have guys legs snapping, collarbones flying apart, ribs throwing themselves at lungs - can't these pricks teach our players to keep their bones in place during games? If not, WTF are they good for?

I'm not going to go through every player individually because I only have a couple of hours spare, some of them just need to be called out for the purulent discharge they are serving up week after week dressed up as football.

He has a side-step that would not get him off a railway line on the nullarbor, and the footy smarts of a deformed amoeba that has been on hard drugs all its life. Add Mzungu, DeBoer, Sheridan, Suttcliffe, Spurr, Crozier and a whole bunch of others, mash their brains together and you may end up with the footy brain of a Tyrone Vickery. At a pinch.

His only value to the team is that occasionally one of his flailing stick-limbs happens to collect an opposition player and they are injured. The added bonus is that he usually gets suspended which immediately strengthens the team - or it would if we had a footballer to replace him with.

Clarke? What is the ****ing go with this campaigner? He gets chance after chance to prove himself and every time he puts in a ****ing pathetic, useless, quarter-hearted (that's half as good as half half-hearted) effort. When you watch him play you sometimes wonder if he's still coming off that Falls Festival high and he's seeing a huge ball with dripping yellow teeth, because he's certainly absolutely ****ing terrified that the ball might somehow come near him and ****ing BITE him! Lucky for him it is rarely within biting distance.

Griffin and Hannath could not run out of sight in a week, neither of then could jump over one of Cam McCarthy's cigarettes, and they keep getting games because Bond - don't ****ing call him Bondy you ****ing sycophants - would not know how to recruit a decent ruckman so we have nobody better. How the **** did we put 6 years into developing Moller as the up and coming ruckman then just when he started to show a bit we **** him off??? AND keep Hannath and Clark - these guys have no ****ing clue.

Stephen Hill is a soft as o pensioner's turd just before pension day when they have had to live on cat food for a few days. If we pay more a 5th round draft pick for his soft, downHILL skiing brother I will microwave my membership card after bricking it first. The only way I would get Brad Hill is if Hawthorn take a package of Suban, DeBoer, Mzungu, Sheridan, Sutcliffe, Spurr, Clarke and Hannath - then I'd throw in our first round pick as thanks.

We are a club without soul, it has been ripped from us buy those ****ing campaigning Steves, Bond, LLoyd, Sumich and all the rest of the w***ers that call themselves management and coaches. We will never win ANYTHING with that prick Lying at the helm and this year is the start of a VERY dark period in the club's history. The next 10 years will make the late 90's and early 2000's look like the renaissance.

Completely agree...Griff, Hannath & Clarke are done. We clearly are in need of some decent ruck stocks. English is a priority as is Goddard later in the draft. IMO our biggest holes are in the ruck and KPF postions.

Brilliant melt Dudley. The best thing was that you answered some of your earlier melts with further melts. Like our clearance issues which were a problem in Round 2 let alone yesterday with half a dozen top midfielders out for GC. The biggest issue aside from lack of pressure within the clearance was the taps. I saw two from Griffin where he had uncontested taps and just gently tapped it GC's goal direction with no Docker in the vicinity and GC helped themselves to easy goals from the clearance.

Griffin diving on the ball as Stephen Hill was running through from wing or half back. Just a really dumb game from him.
