Ok question time for everybody and anybody.

What would the team have to do this weekend for you to put down last week as a complete anomaly and to still believe we are in with a shot?

We still have quite a bit of established talent to come into the team from last week. Sandi, Johnson, Bennell, Mora. On top of that we do have some talented youth that can take the place of the soldiers and freshen the team up in Alex Pearce, Langdon and Blakely. Then we have the wildcard in Yarran who hopefully is up and running soon.

Kicking 100+ points would be a great start, seeing some confident run out of the backline down the corridor. GC are going to be a good test, the only definite advantage we have is in the ruck. If the boys are serious about this year they need to win this round and win well.

Many have already said the litmus test will be the derby. I'm hoping the boys are fully focussed on nothing but dominating this week.

As I have said a number of times, I am overseas and haven't seen the game but I have said all the way thru the summer we need to get some proper ball movement happening. That is what I would like to see, or probably in my case listen to on the streamed radio.

Nothing. On a sample size of two, it would not matter if Fremantle won by 100 points. Round 2 could be the anomaly, and round 1 the indication of the season. Only time will tell.

However, if we get smashed by Gold Coast, that's a fair indication that our season is cactus. This melt thread will seem like Frozen in comparison.

We still in it , but no more last minute change , last week Silva in won't change that much but letting Dawson defence in the centre is a very bad , we just don't have the flow of that stability defence. From 2013 to 2015 we always play with at least two of Dawson,Johnson , silva, a.Pearce and macca.

I will be happy with a 1 point win provided we play attacking, fearless football and score over 100 points.

Do not care too much about Gold Coast scoring - the good teams will score - but I want to see that we can score heavily too.

I hope you're wrong, and I am pretty confident we will at some stage if we stay the course - whether it is this week will tell us a lot about how long it will take to change the game plan up.

staying in Canngu within walk to old man's - going up to Balian and Medewi for day trips. Hotels there are pretty 'rustic'

It'll be interesting to see what role mora will be given if he some how has a good amount of games at the top level.He(mora)loved a goal!! Bennell will be a massive boost to our offensive.

I'm reserving judgment until we see our team with Bennell in it. I'm not saying he'll be our saviour or anything like that, but he's insanely talented and sounds very hungry... a game changing combination!

There's nothing we can do this week.

I am pretty sure we will beat Gold Coast at home. Our problem has never been beating minnow sides at home. It's been performing against other top 8 sides. The real test will come in round 3 against West Coast. If we can perform well there then I will accept that round 1 was an anomaly.

I think I melt enough , I just want to see improvement in team work against GC regardless of personnel. Today session the first time I don't look for stand out player , or mistake made.
