Lyon, the recruiters and the board have some big questions to be asked, if this is our lowest score ever at home.

When I look at our team and then look at all other 17 teams, I see us as having the worst list and wonder if we are actually capable of winning more than 1/2 dozen games. I am looking at the key position spots and we have nothing. Pavlich,Mundy, Sandilands are ancient. There are some players that look like they may develop into A graders in a few years but right at this point we are really struggling. Gold Coast & Carlton beating us at home was the pits, Gold Coast have since capitulated. I know I am stating the obvious here but we just seemed to be a very jinxed club, we can't seem to land good players and when we do ,they can never get on the park. The good players we have break down and can't get on the park ,we have a whole lot of very average honest battlers who give great effort as Ross would say but lack skill. Our defence game in the past together with our very drilled players following it to the letter made us successful for a while ,now things have changed and we look like a bottom 8 team. Until we weed out these unskilled players and the new ones develop and we find some more tall skilled players, it may be some time that we find ourselves back in the top 4.

Let me add a bit more to that. Who have they recruited to replace Johnson and Sandi? We already know that we currently only have Tabs up forward but hopefully over the next few years Uber and Apeness will come on. But down back to replace McPharlin, Johnson and Dawson, we have Pearce. Oops

But its ok and Bond and Lloyd are currently reviewing their own performance and I think we can confidently predict they will be able to blame.....Harvey and carry on.

As for Lloyd and Bond - their positions surely have to be under review come years end. They've designed one of the worst lists in the league. Perhaps they cost us a premiership too , see our forwardline issues during our premiership tilt years.

There really does need some strategy introduced here. Without checking stats I reckon we would have one of the lowest contested and uncontested marks in the fwd 50 in the league. Not just due to our poor 'for' average, but due to our approach of going for long fwd entries when we have some of the weaker contested marks in the league in our side. We're not playing to our strengths and it's beyond stupid to expect any different result than what we're now seeing

We had successful talent rise up from the 08 draft when fyfe was selected after this draft we were stuck with bond and his team of recruiting staff and have year after year targeted small forwards and half back flankers we have being dished up this same utter crap year in year out

If the recruiting department isnt sacked at the end of the year than fremantle has no hope of going back up the ladder our list is by far the worst in the AFL

To all you supporters blaming lyon for this... yes some of this year has to do with the gameplan but look below the surface and you will see we have one of the worst lists in the competition

Last years start while enjoyed by all in the end was our Achilles heal, we thought we we could pinch the gf but had an ordinary finish to the year. A lot on here were requesting one or two young guys get games in last season but now all thrown in together it's not sensible or going to work. The club never kept up with the difference the rule changes were going to do to our unskilled list.

Again we not on the inside but something looks wrong. I'll be honest some of our players have gone backwards in the last few seasons IMO Clarke, Ballantyne, even Hill and others. Anyway that's my $2 bucks.

I believe this is right, and every coach would have to have a say or your reputation is getting destroyed by others. He is the best tactical coach Freo has had but the game plan don't stack up anymore.

I don't like being overly negative about our players but after sitting through 4 miserable quarters at a freezing cold Subi oval tonight it's hard to be positive.

we look absolutely awful and there have to be massive question marks over where we are headed. Crozier and Sheridan really frustrate me...they have both been in the system long enough by now but still don't look comfortable out there.

You'd have to think mayne, Ibbotson, Clarke and Suban might benefit from a fresh start elsewhere but doubt anyone will be all that interested!

Haven't seen Ross press conference yet but I hope he showed some passion or at least looked like he cares!

I hope it isn't this mythical replicate Hawthorns gameplan and then hopefully be successful because if it is we'll be sitting down in the bottom 4 for a few years trying to copy their ball skills with our players who can't hit any targets anywhere so they just blindly bomb it long to players who can't take contested marks.

We didn't change game plan at all, Ross still using the old game plan. The new game plan is playing without fyfe ,Sandi and Johnson.
