I agree in general, but I think the Bulldogs are an interesting case. They have a large swag of average users, despite the perception they are a highly skilled side. Boyd, Morris, Stevens, Libba, Wallis, Picken ... they are nowhere near highly skilled (nor that quick). Some of them are actually pretty awful kicks. Others are not exactly elite as well. It goes beyond kicking skills. Need the smarts, run and gameplan as much as the kicking skills. A lot of what manifests itself as poor kicking is from poor decision making and/or gameplan ... i.e. not having/choosing a suitable option to kick to.

i got heaps of crap for complaining about this during preseason but i turned off the tv last night after Pearced kicked a beautiful long high kick to two tall defenders sitting two metres in front of Ballas, the smallest player on the ground...

You're right but by the same token, you can't carry too many poor users either. It's highly unlikely a team can end up with 22 elite disposers but the gap between the best and worse needs to be minimal.

As others have said, the other factors are speed and smarts. Same goes for that, you can not carry too many lacking in these areas.
