my theory is they are children (actual children not adults with juvenile minds although thats possible).
if you are 12 years old its probably a hilarious thing to do. Easy to forget there are actual children on the internet which leads to some disparity in what constitutes meaningful interaction since we can't actually see the people writing. If you saw a 12 year old in person and they said those things you'd probably humour them and laugh because you realise its a kid, with a kids brain and it makes sense to them.
