I know Tabs is king contested mark but Apeness just passes the eye test as a superior contested mark to me.

I believe its called the West Coast Eagles playbook however Jack Darling is co-writer of it alongside Luke Shuey. The original was created by Ashton Hams.

Forgot he existed to be honestThis is very unfair.
The Sellwood the Egirls dumped on the Cats was a master of the knee drop and should be given full credit.
I really hated that prick. After what was said Des Headland all sellwoods are scum.Forgot he existed to be honest
I fear that we can't keep on blaming injuries any more: the only best-22 players unavailable this weekend were Fyfe, Bennell, Barlow and Johnson. Big names to be missing, but they alone can't fix the mess we're in right now.
Saw Bennell today. This story doing the rounds is laughable. He literally couldn't be any further from being the hobbled, crippled dog described here.Yes I do. Firstly because Redgum usually only posts useful stuff, and I've no reason to disbelieve him. Secondly because I think a guy caught out doing lines and assaulting people on the Mandurah foreshore whilst an AFL player may not be so precious about having an idle chat against team rules. Especially when the poor bastard is hobbling around on a scooter like a crippled dog with no guarantee he'll ever play again
Thanks Dawson. Second time you rubbed yourself out for the Derby. Needed him badly on Kennedy, yet misses 3 games. Dud

In some small part this is due to playing at Subiaco, I think. The size of the ground makes the proportion of the ground inside 50 smaller so it is more difficult to achieve. On differentials we are 14 for inside 50, and 15 for marks i50.Looking at some AFL states, we lead the league in least inside 50's and lead the league in least marks inside 50....So we get it in there less than even Essendon do and mark it less![]()

Watching how often Adelaide manage to get a forward on their own in the F50 for an uncontested mark is so frustrating. It helps when they have 6 genuine targets that can kick goals but they have a forward structure that works to get either 1v1's or a free man.Looking at some AFL states, we lead the league in least inside 50's and lead the league in least marks inside 50....So we get it in there less than even Essendon do and mark it less![]()
Well, there's that.Or alternatively, we're just shit.

Doesnt seem to bother WC as much though....They are 9th for I50's and 4th for marks inside 50In some small part this is due to playing at Subiaco, I think. They are obviously a better team than us at the moment. They are 7th for i50s and 3rd for marks inside 50 on differentials. That both the Eagles and us are better on differentials than raw numbers suggests to me that the broad expanses at Subi have some impact on i50 numbers.Doesnt seem to bother WC as much though....They are 9th for I50's and 4th for marks inside 50![]()
Yeah ADE try to get the ball over the back all the time. We used to try to do that and still sometimes do however we move the ball too slowly and/or choose the wrong kick. When we played ADE earlier this year, we choked them up because we knew what they do however it came unstuck in the second half.Watching how often Adelaide manage to get a forward on their own in the F50 for an uncontested mark is so frustrating. People say old Jenkins/Betts get so many Joe the Goose goals. They're not lucky goals, they are the result of a decent forward strategy.
I melt every time I see "Fumbles" Pearce's boots, they're way too flashy for someone who has zero game.
Yep.I haven't been posting much lately because this season is totally stuffed and I just want it to be over.
I know that football clubs are not run on sentiment but losing Ballas, Barlow, and Pa. in one fell swoop is just so sad. We need to rejuvenate our list, but it's still incredibly depressing.
Well, Essendon have won less games then us, but considering the players they miss they had a much better season then our mob. So only Brisbane really challenge us in being no good. And considering where we started the season we will be the real wooden spooner in a few weeks even when don't win it on paper...Looking at some AFL states, we lead the league in least inside 50's and lead the league in least marks inside 50....So we get it in there less than even Essendon do and mark it less![]()
