Melt #1: Whoever sent Blakely back on with a bung shoulder.....that was borderline criminal and I have to say when he did it a second time, I was almost tempted to call 000 and report the medical staff. Absolute ****ing fiasco all round and achieved absolutely nothing....negligence at the very least, incompetence at the very worst.
Melt #2: I am ****ing sick and tired of sitting through heart stopping games. If today's Freo game was painful given our last quarter, sitting up till 2:30 in the morning to watch the Australian Opals (Women's Basketball Team) lose by a ****ing point to ****ing Japan.....today hasn't been good for my sanity, that's for sure.

****ing Victorian bias bullshit. Idk what process goes into picking the rising star of the week, but Sean Darcy has been robbed a few times and Luke Ryan was robbed this week. This is absolute garbage. The AFL has 0 credibility until it gets rid of this Vic biased crap.

People put far to much value on awards like the rising star Brownlow and especially AA selection, all irrelevant.
The melts are not up (or is that down?) to their normal high standard this week. Very disappointing but at this stage of the year fatigue and "who gives a rats ass" may be kicking in across the board.

The melts have been strong, but we are still short a key position melter. Hopefully we trade or draft in a power melter which will give better matchups for the other melters.
Bond doesn't draft KPMs.
I reckon we'll get another skinny Victorian melter with our first rounder.....as usual

Blakely never should have came back on. Stupid decision, only 4 weeks left. So probably want him ready and running for pre season. Hopefully Langdon signs on for next season.

What I fear most is that while they are busily foaming away, spitting the gravy over the chips, is that a spray at the tv over kpf drafting results in a low grade strain to the salivary duct.
A week off reading glossy magazines to the scent of well wishers flowers that adorn your hospital room you'd think, but melting for Freo you just know that the medical department will try to keep them melting through a game and prematurely end their career.
In hindsight perhaps our melts are a little weak as piss Purpletown. To put things in perspective the Matt Priddis thread which could be considered a melt thread in its own right was created around the same time in 2016 has only 2 fewer pages than our entire melt thread (181)!
We may need some equilisation from the AFL to put us on par with the Toast. Maybe a Melt academy or melt compo picks??? What we have witnessed is a melt thread so powerful it brought about a list rejuvenation with the retirements of Priddis & even Mitchell. It should not be underestimated and should be harnessed to its full potential!!!
