Are you sure you sure you are not an Eagles supporter ?They and you don't seem to understand they cannot comment on the incident and for that reason can't take ownership. My take is this if the club thought that Lyon was a predatory letch they would not stand by him , If on the other hand they thought the complaint was an opportunistic money grab they would .

NDA,NDA,NDA . What part of N, D, A don't you understand.

Ok. so legally hes not aloud to take any responsibility of actions that have already been uncovered and the whole world knows about.
I just question some of his values.

And No way do I support the Eagles I support Freo and follow any one that plays the Eagles every week.

But thats the point , what has been uncovered apart from rumour and innuendo. The NDA is doing its job. Your bias towards Lyon is colouring your view of the incident.

Shocking, embarrassing game. Seriously, that was atrocious, even when we were up by 40 we looked garbage. We got lucky the Saints couldn't kick straight, Membrey should've kicked a bag. Who is gonna tell me that bombing it long isn't our forward structure and isn't the coaches fault? Don't say we're in a rebuild or give me that youth crap, I'm not bagging the kids, I'm saying our coach has no idea how to set up a forward structure and it's been that way since he got here.

We need Tabs and Walters back ASAP, Ross has nothing to work with (I do agree that he has no idea what he is doing) Mcarthy has been useless

I get we’ve got loads of players injured, loads of young players, I get there’s been heaps of tough off-field distractions the last two weeks, I get we had a 6 day break... but **** me, our skills were deplorable, our intensity and pressure is not existent - we allow opposition players so much space and when we do tackle, we rarely stick them.

When we dropped Barlow, Mayne, De Boer, Suban and Mzungu we dropped foot soldiers but they were blokes that gave us 30+ tackles extra per game. It’s an area we need to target.

I’m so glad the boys managed 13 goals, because that forward line should never have been. McCarthy just doesn’t have it in him to be a 4 goal+ messiah, and Cox and Ballantyne aren’t much chop.

I watched on tv this week and the new stadium looks so good it adds a veneer of gloss without which that game could have rightly been coined ' the day that football died ' game , how the skills can be so far below the Hawks / Swans game played in a wet howling squall is hard to comprehend

Still we bloody well needed that win however it was achieved

Thought cox had a nice few cameos and Ballas did put his body on the line.

McCarthy next to Crowden was worst on.

I am angry that a side can travel to play a side coming off a bye.

We play Carlton the week after their freshen up week, before ours, at their home ground, off a six day break.

What. the. hell.
If I am not mistaken the teams fresh off the bye actually have a worse record than those without.

Also, bye or not, we should be beating Carlton. Especially if they don't get a few back before then.

Edit: forgot my melt. That game was trash to watch, even though we won by 5 goals. Did not enjoy (except for maybe Andy and Cez :thumbsu:)

Careful. Success stories inspired by Mark Harvey aren't going to win the popularity stakes around here.

If it were up to me, I'd start by giving all the players a sensible haircut, starting with the Captain.
Watching the game last night and I was thinking make McCarthy get a decent bloody haircut. :p
