Ross Lyons after game comments seem to be pathetic excuses or utter crap most of the time
How did we get outcoached? Arent we simply not good enough and probably have close to the worst forward line in the league?
, like Thursday nights.Game day is pure emotive
Checked the first link and not one poster had mentioned delisting him.

Every link in my post links directly to a post discussing delisting him. Not my problem if you can't read. Obviously that's where this misunderstanding stems from.

Honestly I'm just a bit tired of the game-plan/Ross. There's excuses galore and some are probably valid but we've had 3 years (and probably more) of this pathetic football. Change some real things or get out Ross.
We've turned over 22 players in a short time, there is a lot of change.
It's an opinions board and all, so we'll probably hold a different one, but that is massive change and needs time, Ross and no other coach would just take our list to suddenly grand final with that level of change - and more pending with Mundy/Sandi and others exiting as seniors.
I remember hitting 18 and having to mix it with men, all legal adults - but those 26 year olds are so much bigger, know more etc. Even if we were to recruit Clarkson, he isn't doing much until our young uns have a bit more meat on the bones.

Don't think we've reached that stage just yet though. Just really, really want Ross to drop the oldies, back in the youngsters and change up some structures on field, even just as a token effort for the supporters. Don't know if you go to the games but the anti-Ross sentiment is growing quite fearsome and I really do worry for him.
Already out of focus, the pain must be easing...Drowning sorrows. View attachment 503361
Didn't they just extended Bolton to 2020Starting to hear the ‘Ross is going to Carlton’ stuff outside of bigfooty now.
Talking to a bloke at the game today who claims to be friends with Patrick Cripps. Deal is already done and the players all know it.
Certainly explains the going through the motions game I saw today.

Not sureWhat shits me is we started the season with really high hopes while across town many including myself said the Weagles would be bottom four.
It just makes our situation seem all the more unbearable when they are overturning a 12 year hoodoo against the Hawks while we struggle to put together something even resembling a forward line.
I have confidence our playing group has the ability, but don’t understand why we fail to be able to respond quickly enough when our game plan comes off the rails.
Is it because we have a lot of younger players or is it that our coaching group are well off how the game is evolving?
A good game plan goes a long way to improving players. You put Redden, Masten, LeCras, Cripps in our team and watch how crap they are. What shits me is we started the season with really high hopes while across town many including myself said the Weagles would be bottom four.

As it stands, it IS the worst forward line in the leagueHow did we get outcoached? Arent we simply not good enough and probably have close to the worst forward line in the league?
