Do you think Ross would be a good bond replacement?
I hope this is a joke.
Bennell should be playing
This is bulldust
And leaving Harley out might give them a reason to leave McCarthy in! Bad for Harley and bad for Dardy.More form than any of the ins and Tthe guys retained.....
Total bullshit...
The mantra is selection by action, only if you’re in the purple circle.
Gives opportunity for a long kicker to get ball over the press to break it?Hopefully.
I honestly have no idea what the increasing the goal square size actually achieves. Can someone explain?
When BHill went down against Essendon, I saw way more than a week that they said initially.
Worries me that the strength and conditioning were keen to rush him back.
They said bone bruising which had to be total BS, looked like he twisted his knee - not an impact injury.
Maybe I'm crazy but I think I'll put some trust in trained medical professionals that work in sport at the highest level. We're so f***ing soft with playing Bennell. Seriously, over 2 months at Peel is actually a joke.
Simpson has lost another assistant, so far Cox, Longmuir, Mitchell. Our guys are not even worth pinching.
There are 2 things that could really piss me off on Sunday, specially in light of my comment above. Firstly, if Ballantyne plays, and plays poorly. Secondly, if we show no ability to defend the Hawthorn style. If Chris Fagan can take the Hawthorn IP to Brisbane and unpick it, then surely with Hale and Guerra, it is about time Ross did.Completely agree with you, JMT. I feel other clubs are getting benefit from having a synergistic blend of knowledge and opinion in the coaching panel (I firmly believe two heads are better than one), while we see Ross's strengths and weaknesses displayed on a week in, week out basis.
Hopefully.

This. What they have bizarrely failed to see is that not paying frees to keep the ball in play leads to congestion. Paying frees (by the laws of the game) causes spread and reduces congestion. All these other suggested changes just take us further down a path with new issues that will arise as coaches find new ways to benefit from them.Congestion is really caused by the league telling umpires to put the whistle away and not pay the frees (outlined in the laws of the game) in relation to shepherding more than 5m from the ball, deliberate contact with opponents in marking contests and any sort of realistic adjudication of tackles. Reversing these interpretations and going back to what the rule book says would reduce a lot of congestion. For some reason the link between paying the free kicks and free flowing footy continued to be denied. Pay a free... players spread. No free... players converge.
We lose Simon Lloyd, Brett Kirk after 2015, both wanted by other clubs, only Hale might be in demand? So it’s pinching when it’s the west coast. And he’s an ar**hat when it RTB and the assistants we’ve lost.

That's how bone bruising is caused for the most part mate, in most cases its not like a a normal surface bruise that is caused by a knock or similar activity.
I have had bone bruising in my knee now for the best part of 4 months, caused from a slight twist while doing heavy squats. Recovery periods can be very extended.
He could have played with it without it potentially causing other issues, however it is extremely uncomfortable and takes away power and movement so he would have been borderline useless.
Lol spare me. 8 weeks of wafl just to play a full game is pretty average work. They should be copping the blame for his consistent injuries. Look at Stephen Hill as another example of poor medical management. You're not crazy, you just think the club can do no wrong.Maybe I'm crazy but I think I'll put some trust in trained medical professionals that work in sport at the highest level.
If he came in earlier and broke down in the pressure of the AFL after 1 quarter no doubt they would also cop the blame.
