I met Hardie up at my footy club years ago. He told me he hated Freo from inception of the club.

I believe the hate stems from:

1) He expected to be involved at the clubs inception and wasn’t
2) The decision to avoid East/South club politics and embrace a strong Claremont link on inception.

The first point is correct

He sounded bitter that he wasn't part of it and told me that it was a 'boys club' and they didn't want help.

He didn't like the management and he wouldn't support them because of that.

Not melting, first half went as expected. We're shit, Hawks are better, they display skill, we bomb it long. Never look forward to playing Hawthorn, always the same result.

There are 2 things that could really piss me off on Sunday, specially in light of my comment above. Firstly, if Ballantyne plays, and plays poorly. Secondly, if we show no ability to defend the Hawthorn style. If Chris Fagan can take the Hawthorn IP to Brisbane and unpick it, then surely with Hale and Guerra, it is about time Ross did.

I actually quite like Jones. He really gives his all and he does have a knack for influencing a contest.
Can see why Ross likes him, he loves a big lump without any particular skill who gives great effort and tackles. Perfect cannon fodder/foot soldier. Strnadica is probably one of those fancy pants who likes to take marks and kick goals.
