Essendon in a 100+ point loss scored more than us.

Let that sink in.

That scoreline did flatter us despite it being the lowest recorded score in our history, the margin could've been even greater if Hawkins alone kicked straight.

Absolutely pathetic performance, only the backline performed well + Cunnington. The midfield let us down big time. Forwards didn't help much either.

Umpires also turned a blind eye, those 2 howlers at the 2nd quarter took the wind completely out of our sails what little we had.

s**t ground too.

If I was Rhyce I'd be fuming. The boys looked flat from the first bounce, it was just unacceptable.

That ground is a s**t hole. Any team who doesn't play their regularly struggle to score.

Your mob will wipe the floor with them.

They are impostors.

Those blaming Shaw are morons. You change a game plan in the off-season, but can tweak during the season proper.

What killed us was momentum (due to umpiring howlers) but more importantly, our deplorable skills. The amount of times we hit them lace out, either from direct kicks or from rushed hacks forward was astonishing.

Can't blame the coach for stupid, panicked players

Common misconception: North have a great contested side

Common truth: North have no run

So, at some point someone has to make the decision to start from scratch at selection. Captain is first

Blaming the umpires 😂 🥴

campaigner of a ground in those conditions and we played one of our worst games for the year.

Midfield remains to be our major problem. Other than Cunnington, the rest are absolute imposters.

Higgins the main culprit. He has zero accountability.

And people want to trade our top pick for a combination of a 27 year old wingman and a small forward...

Dunno if the players still get match day pay, but the entire ******* lot of them should be donating the lot to Scooter’s retirement fund.

Only bloke to crack in all night and he has to sit out last concussed for the pleasure.

Reality check tonight. We are miles off it, and we do need draft picks. Probably won't win another game for the year.

Just because we won a few games under Shaw doesn't mean that we are 2 good recruits away from top 6 like some of the posts in the main board have suggested.

When one of our better players is one who is retiring is a problem.

Higgins is close to the worst defensively in the league.

Almost as bad as Dangerfield and Selwood.

What the hell was the plan supposed to be tonight? Long kicks down the line to 2-on-1s or just loose opponents, and barely even bothering to make a contest of it most of the time. Fought hard to make it work in the first half - mainly, as usual, because the defence did their job so well (Pittard, Macmillan, Tarrant, Thompson...) - but it should have been obvious that we weren't exactly getting on top of them playing that way, so why didn't we change it up, not even once, for the entire second half?! Can't blame the conditions - Cats moved the ball around with far greater system than us, and just like every other team does against us, handballed wide to loose players while we crowded around the contest, not to mention actually picked out loose players on the lead, a luxury we never had, which goes directly to effort and workrate.

Look, it's easy to overplay the "lowest score ever" angle - sure, it's a crap record to break, but that doesn't make it our worst performance ever. But to change nothing up in a second half where we clearly didn't even look like scoring a goal most of the time, and to be outscored 59-3 from halfway through the second quarter onwards, goes well beyond unacceptable. The passage of play from full back to Wood on the 50 was the only time we looked like even semi-competently building a score in the second half... and of course, the kick went out on the full. Have to ask the question again, why didn't we change a thing?

We have lots of mids and backs that are AAA+ at hacking the ball. The only bloke who doesn’t hack it is Ahern but he is slow and leaks goals through lack of pressure.

On Shaw I’ll wait till round 3 next year to see if he can implement a game plan that is not bat s**t SYDNEY like boring.

2008: JB denied relocation of our club.

2019: JB sucks off every single opposition player and how great they are.

JB shouldn’t commentate our games.

He’s a flat our disgrace. Commentating wise.

Still love him. But * me.
