I decided to make a template for the wider stripes. If anyone wants to use it feel free.

Striped Socks

From left

1. Thin Bands:
Similar to the South Melbourne guernsey worn yonks ago. My school wears these socks so I thought it worthwhile throwing 'em in.

2. Three Hoop:
Worn by Essendon (All), Geelong (All) and Richmond (All) with all their guernseys.

3. Four Hoop:
Worn by Fremantle (Away), Hawthorn (Home & Away), North (Away) and Sydney (All).

4. Double Stripe:
Worn by Adelaide (Home & Away) and St Kilda (All).
5. Two Stripe:
Worn by Adelaide (Clash) and Western (Clash)

6. One Stripe:
Worn by Carlton (Clash). One stripe separates the base colour.

7. Flanked Stripe:
Worn by Port Adelaide (Clash).

8. Double Band:
Port Adelaide wore it with their clash in 2009.

9. One Band:
I believe Collingwood used to wear this as a 'clash' sock, as such.

Misc. Socks

From left

1. *Insert Generic Sock Name Here*:
Fremantle (Home, Clash) wore it from 1995-2009.

2. Fold-over Top:
West Coast (All), Brisbane (Victorian) and North (Clash) wear this.

3. Top Bands:
Select and colour in as desired. A more rugby-ish sock.

4. *Insert Generic Sock Name Here; The Sequel*:
Fremantle (Home, Clash) wear it currently.

5. *Insert Generic Sock Name Here; Episode III*:
Brisbane (Home, Away, Clash) wear it currently. A slightly thicker middle than Freo's.

6. *Insert Generic Sock Name Here; FOUR*:
Western (Home, Away) wear it.

7. Band Over Top:
Has no relevance to the AFL but the ACT Brumbies rugby union team wear this.

8. One Colour:
Surely you can bloody well figure it out.

Thanks shitloads aidan. Ive started using these MS Paint socks in my designs because its easier to line everything up and these will help me out heaps.

didnt happen to do a hawks clash sock outline?

Ive just tried to use one of the sock templates, but it wont fill properly. It wont fill completely to the edges of the shaded areas.

I think he did it to show you how to colour them...

Ohh I see. Bugger I wish that you could colour them in aswell, that would make it so much easier to do socks

Can someone please do a numbers template again for the guernseys with the AFL symbol.
It would be great appreciated

It's very hard mate, near-impossible actually, to have an decipherable and accurate anti-aliased AFL logo that small.
It turns into a blob when resized (as recommended) in MS Word.

Okay. As Smeagle mentioned in the Numbers section on his tutorial, we will all assign ourselves unique numbers to place on the back of our guernseys when desiging, so we can easily tell whose is who.

What I have already done, and what I suggest you to do, is paste your number in the area on each guernsey and save it as another copy, so you don't have to copy on the number each time.

The following numbers have been decided - post in this thread to confirm yours, and I'll edit this post:

1 - GANTY
6 - Tomfoolery
7 - Furla81
9 - HodgeSlamminSamBox
13 - Gibbsyspin
16 - Smeagle
17 - cory676
18 - gloryandfame
19 - EBUS
24 - Crow_Throw
30 - Aidancdaman

It's up to you, but I suggest maybe putting your number in your avatar or signature, even your "Other teams" section under your name, just to let people know who you are

um i'm not sure what paint i have but i cant work out how to make stuff seethrough lol, this is what my paint looks like but its not the same type as mine (i can't download anything on this laptop so i can't download ms paint) btw this really helped
