League Status - In all three pre-lims

Kudos: Hurn (had him from the start, great pick)

Thoughts- Moved from 8000th, to 1105th in the last 6 weeks, would love a top 1000 finish.

League Status - Into the prelims in all of them

Injury concerns - Hodge, Goddard, Chappy, Higgins

Vent: **** you Hodge. Scored shit again and will probably be put to rest.

Kudos: My rucks, Sandi and Clark. Also Chad for getting 100+ for the first time since his return.

Thoughts- Had 2 donuts this week because of Chappy and Higgins so hopefully they are back this week. And even if only one of them is back Balla should come back to cover. I'm fairly confident that Hodge won't play, meaning I'll have to play Cheney. But Cheney is my only playing back reserve so I can't afford both Hodge and Goddard to miss.

I've expected a slide for ages so it is no surprise that I'm starting to slip. I want to finish top 100 so I'm still on track for that.

League Status - Week off, time for Prelims..

Injury concerns - Cross, Goddard, Bock, Higgins, M Brown

Trades - 2 left and will most likely use them in a must win match..

Vent: What's going on with Fisher?? has he lost the plot?? I'll still back him I guess..M Brown's injury is annoying and I hope Bocky is back..

Kudos: Again, always back a champion aka Ablett.. Again the consistency of Newman, Enright and Pendlebury.. Fev got out of the right side of his bed this morning too!!

Thoughts: Interesting week just gone. Facing opponents next week, that got huge scores this round and passing my 2199 with 2200-2300's, so I'll be double trading I think.. Cross out and Hayes/Dal Santo in.. If Bock/Higgins don't come up I'll look at Drummond/SJ.. going to go hard for 2 prelim victories.. be brave!!

Vent: Hodge and Gilbee make for a tough call, would prefer to just upgrade Rich but will need to look at some other options on top of that

Thoughts- Div 8 prelim is a 50/50 game, in 3rd league I'm probably toast and if I lose in my mates league it would be an almighty choke. Next highest ranked team is roughly 17000th

Overall ranking - 461 up 323 spots

League Status - week off, play the 4th ranked team in prelim final this week

Injury concerns - Bock, M Brown

Trades - 2 left. Hope to get away with only trading Bock this week. Used a luxury trade last week to bring in Montagna which worked out (so far anyway).

Kudos: Fev - 5 100s in 6 weeks, Hurley

Thoughts- Coming home well, just have to hope 2 trades is enough for my league finals. Surprised but wrapped to break the top 500. I was ranked 3400 after round 14.

Score - 2230 (Should have been over 2400 but I was a spud of a coach)

Overall ranking - 405th, down from 375 (Yes I am an idiot)

Heroes - Ablett (but not as captain), Newman, Grima, C.Cornes, Bartel, Dal Santo, M.Clark, Duddy, Stevie J (Bench), L.Anthony (Bench) ROFL!

Villains - Judd Magic as coach, J.Brown, Rich, Selwood, Fisher and Gilbee (Broken record with these two idiots)

League Status - In all three prelims. Hardest one is against Le Grands Legends (PK) in my third league (Bigfooty Div 7) but I just have to pretend I am the Bombers and he is the Saints or is that David vs Goliath? LMFAO!

Injury concerns - Mitch Brown (Means I have no forward line bench cover now) and Goddard.

Trades - 1 left and will use it this week, most likely Grimes > Enright.

Vent: Me. I forgot about overall rankings and that I was playing in a QF in my 3rd league (lucky I still won) so went into experimental mode and did the following - Goddard as captain over Ablett, Rich on the ground over Anthony and Mitch Brown on the ground instead of Stevie J. Cost me 270 odd points I reckon. Also for Gilbee and Fisher for continually playing like spuds! Never again will I pick these two ar5e clowns, NEVER!

Kudos: Ablett for getting 165 even if he wasn't my captain. Dammu Impromptu, I blame you for being too smart for my own good! ROFL!

Thoughts- Should win my first two league PF's but playing Le Grands Legends (PK) is going to be mighty tough. Not expecting to beat him but it will be the feel good story of the year if I do. Need alot of things to go right in that game so am gonna bench S.Fisher and trade Grimes for Enright.

Villains - Me. for benching Anthony, demoting Ablett and blowing all my trades prematurely.

League Status - Still alive. Up against my best mate next week.

Injury concerns - Dempsey, Grimes

Vent: Last week, I had to trade one of Grimes, Goddard or Gilbert. Grimes had a corked hip, according to the injury report. Goddard had a mystery knee injury. So I traded Goddard. Sure enough, this week Goddard plays and Grimes goes from test to 1-2 weeks.

Kudos: to the bombers from doing what the swans and cats didn't quite manage.

Thoughts- goal is now to stay in the top 200.

League Status - Week off in the one that matters, Won in another, lost by 10 in an elimination final against teh league leader. If only I had of played either Anthony or Jurrah instead of Rich and Murphy.

Injury concerns - Really hoping to see Jack Grimes back this week. Less hopeful of Harding coming back. None from weekend.

Trades - Probably. Either Harding for Drummond or Lockyer/Shaw.

Vent: None really. All played pretty well. Low scoring but all my players except 3 were 70+ so reasonabley happy.

Kudos: Broughton, Hurn, Jurrah, Anthony. Gotta be the best rookie pick ups of 09??

Thoughts- Getting nervous that Hawthorn will throw in the towel. Only have Franklin but it's a worry.

Vent: Starting Cheney over Hurley.

Kudos: Anthony covering nicely for Griffen and Captain GAJ making up for last week.

Thoughts- Top 500 still possible and still in most important league.

Villains - MBrown - though he has done an awesome job for my team as a solid reserve all year.

League Status - i won my $ league final and thats all that matters. Big game this week.

Injury concerns - Grimes? Goddard?

Trades - I have 2 left and will use at least 1 to cover injuries up back. If Higgins and Chappy come back this week then everything is going to plan

Vent: I won! To be still in my leagues, ranked top 50 and have 2 trades left i aint got much to complain about.

Kudos: Michael Hurley for justifying the great faith i showed in him early in the season. His score on the w.e makes a trade i had some doubts about seem like genius. Also... GO BOMBERS WOOHOOOOOO

Thoughts- Really happy to have made the prelims and will hopefully meet my main league rival in the GF. Also wrapped to have strengthened my place in the top 100 after i dropped as low as 149th mid season.
