Since the ATCC went to Group 3A regulations, now know as V8 Supercars, in 1993, the best looking car I think is the EF Falcon. John Bowe won his only ATCC in one. It looked good with any paint job. But the two best ones I think were Glenn Seton's, in Ford Credit colours...

    Glenn Seton 96 a.jpg

...and Tony Longhurst's in Castrol paint.

    Tony Longhurst 95.jpg

The weird thing for me is, Larry Perkins used the same paint scheme with his Commodores, but I didn't think it was that crash hot.

Isn't it weird that Castrol was the major sponsor of 2 different teams

    Winfield commodores looked nice.

In the 2 litre Super Touring class, there were many good looking cars and paint schemes, either individually or a combo. Of all, as a combo, I thought the Peugeot 406, that was used in the BTCC in 1997 and 98, was the most attractive.

    And on a worrying theme:

No-one has had a better looking GP bike than the Rothmans Hondas:

And finally a couple of Castrol icons:

Great post . Klyntonius. Brocks A9X is one of the most iconic liveries ever. Victor Bray Castrol Chevy was awesome as well. Castrol was on just about everything in the 90s!

1997 HRT VS. Always loved this for some reason. The dominate blue HRT Commodores looked great. It probably helps that my 2 favourite drivers are in the side. :)
PS. I'm a sucker for factory sponsored cars. HRT, FPV etc

Off topic but what ever happened to Mobil in Australia? Their servos were everywhere and then just vanished here. Same for Ampol.

There's something about the Rothmans livery that makes anything on wheels look good.

Love this, I was 4/5 years old and went to the grand prix in Adelaide and fell in love with it.

As much as I rated the 94 Benetton it carries too many scars for a 13 year old F1 fan for me to truly love it.

Loved it too! Think I just liked the green and blue combination - probably why I like the fairly recognisable Falken racing livery

Also don't mind the pale blue/orange Gulf livery made famous by the GT 40 at Le Mans back in the day.

Yeah, I love the livery, but TBH don't think the bike looks THAT good. I quite like the 06 Kwaka...

F1 wise I don't know my history as well as I ought to, but most of the Lotuses I've liked, this Ferrari looks very sleek too:

    To each their own ...

I started watching F1 in Adelaide 1994 - that very race you went to. I had to pick a car to cheer for, so I picked the pretty blue Rothmans liveried Williams with the number 0 on the nose. I was cheering for Hill to win the title and was absolutely livid when THAT collision occurred. Mansell winning was the consolation prize, though.

So much better looking than the Benetton. To my eyes, at least.

More green/blue combination. Since I've just picked it as my avatar.

Overall, the 3.5 litres F1 cars were best looking.

    Good bump!
Seeing though we've gone all over the place with liveries...

Good bump. I don't know what caused it but I got a bit nostalgic over the Christmas break and was watching lots of old clips on youtube. Have to say the mid to late 90's seasons had some ripper liveries - especially the less fancied teams. Miss those days with Murray Walker calling the action.

97' Arrows - simple but effective IMO. Pity the car was trash though I think Hill nearly won at Hungary from memory?

97' Prost - love that blue.

Minardi always had some good looking ones. Unfortunately they were never very fast.

My Favourite overall has to be the best touring car ever built. The 1991 Bathurst winning GTR.

Never rated any Williams appearance wise, but that JPS Lotus does things for me.
