Ouch, I would have said the Bulldogs were locks for over 39.5.
I think a performance like that is more proof that the Dogs don't have what it takes to really put teams away (Hawthorn game being the exception) nor the forward line to really challenge Cats and Saints.

$50 on Richmond -23.5pts, Port Adelaide +17.5pts, West Coast +24.5pts & Cantenbury @ $7.04

$20 on Richmond over 39.5pts & Essendon under 39.5pts @ $5.85

Unlucky there Doctor. Wasnt that weekend a nightmare for tippers and punters. Close games made it a nightmare for many a punter and was it only Collingwood that covered the line with all underdogs putting up a great fight. I was one who thought the Doggies / Carlton / Richmond / Hawthorn were in for good big wins.

yeh i thought bulldogs and richmond would win by a bit more than they did, interesting to hear news of bulldogs been trained very hard during the week and that may have contributed to them slowing down in the second half, bulldogs under 39.5 or west coast at the line may be a good option this week.
Week 1 - +$46.00
Week 2 - +$302.50
Week 3 - +$596.00
Week 4 - -$310.00

Week 5 - -$170.00
Total - +$464.50

massive amount of ins and outs in the afl this weekend, there are some nice odds around the place and hopefully i can find some winners. I really like West Coast to get within 3 or 4 goals with the Bulldogs recent hard training sessions leaving the prone to second half fade outs(yes i know west coast is shocking on the road)
$50 on Geelong, West Coast +42.5, Collingwood, North Melbourne & Sydney Swans @ $14.02

$40 on Geelong under 39.5, West Coast +24.5, Hawthorn & North Melbourne -17.5 @ 25.72

$50 on West Coast +24.5 & Geelong -21.5 @ $8.00

$30 on Perth Glory, Melbourne Storm, Geelong -15.5 & Tomas Berdych @ $13.68

looks like a fun little challenge - i certainly enjoyed the $20 challenge, betting on favourites earlier this year (and was going beautifully until the last 2 weeks of the football season in Europe in May).

this is very much the opposite...

anyway, i'm doing this purely to see whether there is value in multis - but i'm more a $50 a month punter rather than a $50 a week punter (until the spring carnival... the 5 weeks of the year where i become slightly addicted to gambling).

so, my little $10 multi for this weekend...

Western Bulldogs v West Coast Eagles - West Coast Eagles | Win - Line (Ev) (+42.5) 2.00

North Melbourne v Melbourne - North Melbourne - Win - Line (-18.5) 1.92

Manly Sea Eagles v South Sydney Rabbitohs - South Sydney Rabbitohs - Win - Line (+12.5) 1.95

New Zealand Warriors v Gold Coast Titans - Gold Coast Titans - Win - Line (-4.0) 1.91

paying $14.30, and i think they're pretty good bets. Manly vs Souths could be dicey, but i'm happy with the rest.

Bad luck mate, I hate when my multis get knocked early in the weekend. I had Geelong in both mine as well.

WINNER!!!

:D :D :D

$10 well spent... even better than the 10 bucks i had on west coast yesterday. i'm having a good weekened! (other than the hawthorn debacle which shall never again be mentioned.)

nice work there nobby, i finally nailed one myself after an annoying weekend multi wise. had the eagles at the 24.5 line at $4 which was good, but anything i multi'ed up with the eagles fell through, some teams you should just stay away from(carlton, port adelaide, hawthorn). thank god for the jets late goal against wellington in the a league

Maybe pushing my luck this week after my winner last, but here is my 6 leg Multi.

Melbourne Victory to bounce back and win, Adelaide United to win or draw, Western Bulldogs on the +6.5 line, Manchester City to open their season with a win going into a Collingwood and St. Kilda win.

Paying $17.57

got a 9 leg multi @ $49.90, 3 have come through with C'Wood winning the first quarter, Titans winning and Canterbury winning. Titans and Canterbury were the toughest to win for the multi so looks good :thumbsu:

Need Geelong and WC by over 15.5, Saints manly paramatta and st george to win:thumbsu:
