Solved The Murder of Gabby Petito

Gabby Petito disappeared whilst travelling with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie. He returned to his home alone and refused to answer questions from the police or Gabby’s parents. One can argue he is exercising his legal right to remain silent but it arguably paints a suspicion over him.

Brian has now disappeared which adds to the strangeness of the situation.

Was he involved in Gabby’s disappearance?

Is it a publicity stunt?

Did they witness something they weren’t supposed to?

A strange case.

Let’s hope they are both found safely soon!

In the meantime, a TIkToker added a twist to the mystery in a video that has now gone viral. Miranda Baker said she and her boyfriend gave Laundrie a ride as he hitchhiked alone in Wyoming in what she called a "weird" encounter.

The meeting took place on August 29, one day before Petito's last text to her mother, Nicole Schmidt, who has said she did not believe the message was written by her daughter.

This happened in the same area around the same time.

A body has been found in the Wyoming Forest. No word on who yet

edit: confirmed it is Gabbys body. No cause of death right now

Terrible news.

The fact that Brian has gone in to hiding is highly suspicious. Does he have dirty laundry to air?

Or has Gabby fallen victim to somebody else? Did they witness something they shouldn’t (illegal meth lab or mine etc)?

The boyfriend could have just driven a few days and then walked across the border in to Mexico, no questions asked with the head start he’s had.

I reckon an accident has occurred out in the forest and this guy is innocent but after speaking with his Lawyers they agree no one is going to believe it. They’re buying time while independently they’re doing their own groundwork behind the scenes to gather the evidence to prove his innocence. The ‘simple’ answer - that he did it and has fled - just seems far too obvious.

Could be he story was gonna be she dumped him and took off hence why he was hitchhiking but then realized he’d left some loose ends and went back to tidy up. Then the trek home seemed too difficult so he drove back instead & still couldn’t come up with a decent story.

So many opinions on this case. Just the top three or so.

1. So sad for all involved. Hopefully the boyfriend can be found alive and the truth comes out. Personally I think he's disappeared and killed himself.
2. This is a sickening example of 'missing white woman syndrome'. If Gabby was African American or a bloke this would not be getting any media attention at all.
3. For all those who believe in spirituality. The couple who sent in the dash cam footage that led to the FBI searching the area where Gabby was found, the footage was taken on the anniversary of their six year old sons death. The kids mother had a dream one night of her dead son telling her to check the footage. The dash cam footage was checked that morning and sent into the FBI. What are the odds.

Not looking good that old mate will be found alive. Still makes very little sense that he'd drive all the way home and then hire a lawyer and just disappear though?

Reminds of those two younger guys on the run in Canada last year or the year before a little bit

Very eerie!

Cause of death will be interesting.

If it’s gunshot or knife wounds it would be unlikely to be an accident.

Just terrible though. Should have been in the prime of their lives. Not deceased and missing.
