Do you like Gerry Cinnamon Cruyff14
Love love love Sometimes. Cracking tune. It was among my top played songs on Spotify.

My old man loved Canter. He'd rave about it.

Who does she think she is, King Gizzard?
I don't understand, sorry. It is her 31st birthday, so that is another reason it's being released today.

King Gizzard are notably prolific.
In 2017 they released 5 albums.

Just the one this year though, slackers.

chef Loonerty have you guys heard of Sam Fender? Young British fella, really good.
I hadn't but seems alright.
Getting Nothing But Thieves and some Gang Of Youths vibes from these two:

Another new Taylor Swift album out today at 4pm Eastern. Called evermore, it's an extension to folklore. Going to be great.

Full of Evermore covers I expect. Cannot wait. Hoping she does some of their newer stuff not just the classic bangers.

I listened to RTJ4 again the other day and have been thinking about this since:

I can't believe I didn't take it in fully when it came out, but it might be the most powerful song of the year.
Killer Mike's verse is so hard hitting.

Might not be many here's style so I'll paste his verse fyi:
"The way I see it, you're probably freest from the ages one to four
Around the age of five you're shipped away for your body to be stored
They promise education, but really they give you tests and scores
And they predictin' prison population by who scoring the lowest
And usually the lowest scores the poorest and they look like me
And every day on the evening news, they feed you fear for free
And you so numb, you watch the cops choke out a man like me
Until my voice goes from a shriek to whisper, "I can't breathe"
And you sit there in the house on couch and watch it on TV
The most you give's a Twitter rant and call it a tragedy
But truly the travesty, you've been robbed of your empathy
Replaced it with apathy, I wish I could magically
Fast forward the future so then you can face it
And see how ****ed up it'll be, I promise I'm honest
They coming for you the day after they comin' for me
I'm readin' Chomsky, I read Bukowski, I'm layin' low for a week
I said somethin' on behalf of my people and I popped up in Wikileaks
Thank God that I'm covered, the devil come smothered
And you know the evil don't sleep
Dick Gregory told me a couple of secrets before he laid down in his grave
All of us serve the same masters, all of us nothin' but slaves
Never forget in the story of Jesus, the hero was killed by the state"

Especially this year, it's made me think about the fact that I am the Twitter rant person and there is more that I can do.
I feel like glenferry23 may enjoy reading this though I'm not sure of your music taste.

Thanks mate, powerful stuff. Never heard this one before, listening to it now. I’ve lost track of their recent work, I’ve been a fan for a little while now especially when Legend Has It was used for the first Black Panther trailer. That was sensational.
