New Methyl Ethel album came out the other day as well, enjoyed it but will take a few more listens to fully form an opinion I think.

New White Lies album is quite good, came out last Friday.
Johnny Hunter released an EP which has a couple of standout songs - life and cry like a man
Methyl ethyl was solid after first listen. The collab with Stella Donnelly is really good and best ‘new’ song on the album imo.

Yeha i think they have been solid albums
The Hardest cut is an absolute beaut.
Yet to listen to Alt-J but they’ve never grabbed me much.
Enjoyed Mitskis new one along with Hippo Campus and can’t wait for the new Foals.
My partner bought me one of the Bluetooth turntables for my birthday so pretty excited to give it a whirl.

You guys listened to the GOY album yet? I like it, some great ballads on there. Interestingly, the last two songs are called "hand of god" and "goal of the century".
I thought "brothers" and "foreboreance" were fantastic as well.

I had a listen this morning. I was pretty underwhelmed to be honest, but I didn’t have high expectations given the singles that were released.
It’s a softer style. I prefer their more punchy, in your face faster songs.

Not the best driving music, a lot of ballads. Album goes for over an hour though which is good.
I like it but don't love it, and yes, I agree.

I will give it another go but at this stage it won’t be getting regular rotation that’s for sure.
One song I did quite like was ‘in the wake of your leave’

Ballpark - quite enjoyed
Bloc Party - really like, similar sound to Four
Florence & machine - liked
Vaccines - really good sound
Midnight oil album is pretty good. Obviously not as energetic as their old stuff but still holds strong
