Does anyone else here like Zac Brown Band?

American Country group.. they seriously are unreal. I discovered them on the doco series the Foo Fighters did for their last album. (Zac actually asked Dave Grohl to produce an album for them while backstage at an awards show, and he agreed having never heard them and only based on meeting the bloke)

Anyway country may not be everyone's taste... but they also cover songs most live shows

I got talked into seeing these guys in St.Kilda earlier in the year. A friend had tickets, told myself "country isn't my thing" so wasn't going to bother, but they were a good live band. Did a fair few covers-"Let it Be" was particularly good.

Remember it being so loud, like really loud. I go to a few punk and heavy rock gigs, but these guys were way louder in comparison.
Beautiful song johncat

So excited to be going to see the Violent Femmes play at the Corner hotel in March. :thumbsu:
Thanks CG (and Vdubs ), I think it's a nice song too.

Kudos to you for scoring Femmes tickets. They sold out so quickly, now there's a wait list just in case they announce a 3rd show.

Loudest show you've been to johncat (anyone else??)

Willo_, get with the program mate, the theme is "summer". :p

Atomic Sauce, this is for you. I heard it in the car and I thought The Sauce would like this...

Which then made me think of this...

It's summer and they are the songs I shared

Good enough? :D

Welcome to my contribution

Mostly I love the film clip for this

Fun fact ... some of the weddings were staged, but there are a few that they genuinely did this too.. which would have been unreal
That is THE BEST music video I've ever seen. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:
(I especially like the 'wtf' bride)

I can't believe YOU were listening to a station that played this song P, but I :hearts: it.

And I'm no cool kid, my loudest gig was probably Inxs. :$
Tell us what yours was!
Lol rocker, now I'm thinking of this 1-

Yeah, MBV at the Palace Theatre in 2013 was loud, especially the "holocaust section" (as anyone who has seen MBV can attest).

A Place to Bury Strangers were up there on the decibel level as well.

I'll third the My Bloody Valentine nomination for loudest gig ever. Had serious tinnitus for days afterwards. Was so great though.

These guys would be a close second. Saw them at Festival Hall, probably didn't help that I was wedged next to the speaker most of the night. Here's a toe tapping summer song from them :D...

I may have a spare ticket that you can have. I'll let you know in a week or two. :thumbsu:

Check golds web site they might have a play list or ask them on facey.
No gold FM for me yesterday sorry.

They don't keep playlists handy like JJJ does which is a bugger.

Anyway, the words I remember are "alright, alright."
