I've been getting so many PM's about this so it's time to speak up.
Cloud_, local admin and lazy person, has decided to not hold the MVP awards on the Monday before the grand final for reasons still unclear.
This award was once prestigious before it was taken over by mouth breathers and this final act of laziness from an incompetent moderator has perhaps proven to be the death knell for the award.
This award was supposed to fall on a Monday to increase it's legitimacy and yet, it looks like we'll have to wait until the offseason to see it.
It's honestly not a surprise and anybody who didn't realise a glorified excel monkey would make a shit admin simply wasn't paying attention.
It's another bizarre decision from an admin bereft of ideas and integrity.
Not only this, but the award will now be closed off from the public vote. Now, only those cloud deems worthy will get the chance to partake in a community driven award.
It's been a massive shame to see the league slowly die under clouds reign. This decision to be incredibly lazy about the implementation of the MVP is yet another indictment on a shit admin who has floundered through their first year.
If anybody is interested in an awards ceremony with integrity, I'm willing to host one as my final act as an active sweet fa player.
I'm also considering running state of origin next season.
