The name of our board.

Agree - I thought we were supposed to be represented everywhere as Brisbane Lions, rather than just Brisbane, as part of the merger agreement?

Whats wrong with Brisbane.
All the other teams are just Richmond, not Tigers etc.
Why are we any different. We all know we are the Lions. Just like others know their teams name as well.
Whats the problem here.

Hmm. Yeah, you're right Homer. Why bother about the Lions bit. In fact, I don't know why the club bothers about it at all. In fact, I have now come to my senses, thanks to you Homer.

Why doesn't the club rid itself of ALL references to the Lions. Hell, I'll even help them rip the Lions off the jumpers, take down the LIONS sign at social club, etc. etc. . . .

Another thing, Homer. Do you want to be exactly like all the other clubs? If so, why not just go and support them? If don't support the Brisbane Lions (and I mean BRISBANE LIONS, not just Brisbane), then as far as I'm concerned you can go somewhere else.

It's not like as if I am proposing that we just call this board "Lions Board". Anyone who has read my post will know that I have been utterly fair to all parties concerned when it comes to issues like this.

Homer, it's people like you, who bag Roys supporters for having their say (not that you yourself have any opinions of worthy note), but at the same time you won't empathise with their views about the Brisbane Lions (of which they are trying to become a part of).

Actually Homer, that last post of mine wasn't being propelled by 'wrath' of any note. I was merely commenting on what I perceive to be an apathetic attitude in regards to promoting our club for what it is. The BRISBANE LIONS!!!
