I was thinking more sign and trade involving D'Lo who has probably played himself out of a extension with LA.

LA cannot go back with what they have right now under any circumstances. They need a 3rd star. If its not Kyrie its gotta be someone

They do have cap space, not max guy but enough to sell a 1+1 to any older free agent. How commited is James Harden to the Philly situation? Vucevic is an interesting option. Figure out to flip Dlo for a reasonable wing, pay Reeves.

Also they are paying Mo Bamba $10m next year to not actually play any basketball so there is that. Schroeder was starting in a playoff game and is on like $2.3m.

Also LOL at the LeBron comments about retiring. As if he would. Just spitting s*** so ppl will continue to talk about him after getting swept. Classic narcissist
Player option worth 50m or so. We know he loves money then FA when his son is drafted to play out his final season in a way that makes Kobes retirement tour seem modest

Pat Bev talking about coming back, Harden is our main target and now CP3 on the radar. Bring everyone back, get Hakeem, Mac, Franchise, Drexler, Dwert, Deke, Sura, Chuck, my boy Mobley and Pippen.... actually scratch on Pippen. * even Chucky.

The guy is nearly 40, just played on cooked foot for weeks that is probably going to need surgery. Maybe he just needs to weigh up if he really wants to keep doing this when he has already accomplished just about everything he possibly can.

Zero chance he retires before Bronny joins. He may take a season off to rest his body at extreme worst.

In all honesty its a callout for Lakers to spend big on luxury tax and get Kyrie in. Irving has already backtracked on his so called handshake agreement with Dallas and said he hasnt decided his team yet.

Idea Kyrie wouldnt take a paycut to join Lakers is nonesense given how much money he wasted not getting the vaccine. He will take a paycut to join Lakers if he wants to join them. I think its more likely then not at this stage he goes there. I imagine LeBron knows this and his announcement was for Lakers to stop and just give him the contract he wants and get it done.

I know people think Dallas wouldnt do a sign and trade involving D'Lo Russell but surely they would if Lakers throw in their first rounder? Who else are Dallas going to sign with that money and surely D'Lo will be taking a big paycut to the point where Dallas can sign D'Lo and another player to put next to Luka. Cant see D'Lo getting more then 3/60 so should let Dallas target someone else too

76ers lost the plot. Playing games with Harden and offering him less than the max. Houston will clearly give him the max and off he goes.

With the attitude they are showing, no one else will touch them and they will get left holding the bag

I think the most interesting Free agent this off season is Van Vleet

His decision will have massive flow on effects. If he leaves, Toronto will trade Siakam/Anuoby id say which opens up possibilities for Dallas and GSW

Honestly, don’t think there’s any chance he goes back to Houston. Using them as leverage

Fair point but I also dont see Harden signing on for less then max or taking a 50 mill paycut to be a second part player at Philly. He has better places to be especially as the number 1 free agent. I mean, if he is going to take less then max then he may as well go to Lakers for a year instead

It's all down to how much he cares about a championship imo. Houston is where he lives and will live when he retires and has his favourite strippers so we would be the comfort option. Knowing Harden that and the pay may be all he needs.

Well if it’s a sign and trade the Lakers would need to match salary wouldn’t they? And the Mavericks issues has been trying to get out from bad contracts. They won’t want D Lo on a long term deal.

The Mavs moved on a first for Kyrie plus Doe Doe and Dinwiddie. If he wants to go to the Lakers they can fit the team again. D Lo doesn’t help them.

They don’t have the cap space to sign him and he will be looking for a multi year deal.

Monty Williams out. Oof.

Look2Me4Guidance

Kinda sad for Look2Me4Guidance 's Suns.

Sorta came out of nowhere to become title contenders, then a bunch of weird stuff has brought them undone almost as quickly.

Not over yet, but it's all going to look very different. Probably shouldn't be undersold that Monty and co. turned around what had been an anemic franchise.
It’s sad to see him go and will be forever thankful for turning us around. Unfortunately two home blowouts in two years to finish our season meant changes and we all know it’s easier to move a coach than players. He lacked tactical adjustments and I got tired of hearing “I didn’t have them ready”. We’ve got a small window to build a roster around Book and Durant now, so it should be better balanced than how we closed the season.
I’d prefer we get Earl Watson over Doc.
