Not a chance.
He'll be in LA in 2018... Guaranteed!
I predicted him leaving the first time and coming back, I'll back myself in on this.
There's nothing the lakers and Clippers can do to compete with the Warriors so there is no real point for a soon to be 34 year old Lebron to pack up and leave again.
For example the Clippers team you posted, Wade would be almost 37 when it reached its first playoff run, Melo is already cooked and would be another 2 years older etc why leave a prime kyrie and whatever they get for Love for a couple of players that really should be retired
On the lakers, I don't think a combination of Lonzo Ball, Paul George and Lebron really has much chance of beating the Warriors either. If they traded Ball for a star point guard then this may be a little more likely but still can't see it as he'd be leaving what he already has in Cleveland in the final few seasons of his career

If Lebron did leave (which I highly doubt) why would he go to LA over the Spurs anyways. Spurs already have a legitimate superstar that can guard Durant and an all time great coach, would be a no brainer imo.

Cause he lives in LA in the offseason. Makes sense to go there

Why hasn't he ever gone there before then? Because he wants to win... so why would that change in his final few chances of chasing championships and adding to his legacy?

Cause he wanted to go home and win which he did.
He doesn't need to do anything, his legacy is cemented on Mt Rushmore.

Knightmare Thoughts on the Butler trade?

Atrocious for the Bulls.

The worst trade the Bulls franchise has made since Artis Gilmore in 1982 and the second worst trade the Bulls franchise has ever made overall.

Jimmy Butler in franchise history I would rate the 5th ever to play for the Bulls - MJ, Gilmore, Pippen and Rose (at the peak of his powers) were better. I regard Butler's play as lightly better than: H.Grant, Rodman, J.Sloane, B.Love, C.Walker, Theus, Deng, Noah etc.

Zach LaVine tore his ACL in Feburary which is not what you want from an athletic type. Too high risk, and a low level starter to bench player for mine.

Kris Dunn can develop but had a poor first season with only 7.9 points and 5.1 assists per 36min with % of 37.7%pg and 28.8%3pt and 61%ft. Those are poor numbers and there will be significant growing pains having to play him. He may develop into an eventual starter, but those aren't numbers that suggest he'll be all that high level of a starter if he does become a starter quality player.

As for the pick by the Bulls. Lauri Markkanen is not someone I have any interest in. He's another Andrea Bargnani. Able shooter who can score inside and hit 3s. What Markkanen can't do is defend or rebound. Small hands short arms. If you can't defend or rebound. You're not a starting big man and I'm expecting Markkanen to be a role player only off the bench.

I also don't like the bulls accepting $3.5mil for Jordan Bell who was the Bulls second round pick. While Bell wouldn't have been my choice, unless the pick is in the 50s, it's never ok to do that. At least draft and stash a European if not keen on this years draft prospects.

Overall it's a step in the completely wrong direction and the Bulls will be left in obscurity for a long time as a result.

Had I had my way, I would have kept Butler, kept pick 16 - drafting Justin Patton as Minnesota did as another 7ft center but the difference being that Patton while he can shoot 3s in his own right, he's more athletic, catches lob passes around the rim and has greater potential both as a rebounder and defender. He's no guarantee to make it, but he at least has starter potential and doesn't need such a high pick to add.

In the second round with my man Frank Mason not there, I would have gone with best available European and wanting a big, Isaiah Hartenstein is the one I would have taken as a draft and stash type.

The Timberwolves are the true winners of draft day. They haven't lost a thing by making the trade with the Bulls. Rubio was always the starter ahead of Dunn and Butler comes in for an injured LaVine to upgrade the back court and complement Wiggins who needs that star veteran on the perimeter to learn off of. They'll be a playoff team next year and they'll start to rise up the standings out West. If they add a good power forward through free agency. They're in a great place. A Serge Ibaka would be a great fit there and make for a great starting five with good defense at each position.

Is Tatum a good pick up for the Celtics?
Imo he was the best available non point guard, not a fan of Josh Jackson especially given you have Brown already

Imo the best 3 players in the draft were all point guards, Fultz, Ball and Smith. If I was the Celtics I would have traded Isaiah for something good and drafted one of those

Is Tatum a good pick up for the Celtics?

A questionable and surprising pick. Many favoured Josh Jackson. Tatum isn't as good on defence but is the better scorer of the two. Tatum has to develop a fair bit to become a starter, but he is potentially developable depending on the work he puts in at the next level.

In Boston situation, I would have been looking to unload pick 3, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart with a view towards securing veteran talent to help IT and Horford make a run at Cleveland who may lose LeBron at the end of next season.

Some talk of Paul George and Faried to Cleveland for Love being possible.

One other interesting development is Houston. They're talking about all the big free agents - CP3, Lowry, Millsap and Griffen.

I really like Blake Griffen as a fit in Houston. D'Antoni has had success with Nash and Stoudemire. Harden and Griffen can be that next, modern version of this with the floor spacers to surround them.

Any takers for Doc Rivers?
He has single handedly destroyed the Clippers.

- Firstly, the Clippers received him from Boston in 2013 for an unprotected first round pick.
- 2014 saw them use pick #25 on Reggie Bullock who was traded two years later for his son Austin (who is being paid $11million a season now WTF)
- 2015 saw them use pick #28 on CJ Wilcox who was traded two years later for a future 2nd rounder.
- Also, in 2015, they traded Dudley and a future first rounder for Delfino, Raduljica and a 2nd round pick. Neither Delfino or Raduljica would play a game for them.
- The Clippers had no pick in the 2015 draft.
- In Feb 2016, he brought Jeff Green to the team for a future 1st round pick. Green then left as a Free Agent 3 months later.
- In 2017, the Clippers had no picks in the draft.

We are now looking at losing both Paul and Griffin and if that happens, we will have a total of 35 million in cap space to replace them... BOTH OF THEM!!.

No wonder Jerry West has been brought in... What a f***** mess!!
