'The Nest' Round 1 magazine cover

so i thought of the idea of making a cover after each game and posting it up here, this is just a thought, not sure what your thoughts are on it, but any feedback on it would be great and any additions or any fixes for the next edition against richmond next week would be great, here it is:

Background looks a bit bland, While Lance Franklin & Harry look a bit skinny. Also you can't really see that the title says "The Nest" as it looks a bit more like "The Net" - Doubt you're trying to sell a basketball magazine.

Other than that i like the layout

I hope it doesn't really cost $9.95 :O

Nice, as one poster says, the background is a bit bland, maybe chuck the MCG or Vic Park in as the background, and it would be complete.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with after we beat Carlton in round 3.

ahaha^ cheers for the feedback guys, there wont be magazines as such but they'll just be magazine covers, i'll try my best to replicate the cover to an actual cover by adding a barcode and such, and yeah the hardest part of it would be thinking of a background for sure, ive made others from last year aswell i haven't posted them, but if you want to see them hit me up and i'll show you if you'd like

I'd love to see last years ones, hit me a PM.
Also, you should hire some people to write an actual magazine. With your covers it could be successful. I'd volunteer for sections anytime.

I agree with this. Also, the font for the title is hard to read. The 'E' looks a bit like an 'O' because there isn't any circle in the 'E'.

Good start though, I look forward to what you can come up with next!
