I get the feeling the worse is still to come.

The director has said he didn't think Jordan would approve episodes 7 and 8.

Be good to see some other narrative than MJ is the almighty God

Binging Chris Lilley's Lunatics

A welcome return to form.

No where near the heights of Summer Heights High and Angry Boys, but I'll take it after the abomination that Jonah was.

The Last Dance ends tonight with that series against the Pacers just starting which I remember like yesterday rushing home to dial up Internet to see who won when I was an apprentice at work as an avid Pacers fan!

All hindsight now but gee it is bringing back memories and Reggie Miller was right in saying that the Pacers had the better team and game all round but MJ just said no!

ends next week!

I came across this good little sci-fi mystery/thriller series called "Into the Night" made in Belgium I think but dubbed in English. It's about a natural disaster-related to the sun, and these people in a plane must keep flying into the nightside of the planet to survive. Check it out.

Yeah I enjoyed it, most of the characters are bat shit crazy though, The Muslim (Airport worker) probably the only completely normal one onboard.

Only one I watched was Summer Heights High, and that was an excellent show, haven’t bother with the rest.
Angry Boys is really funny especially the characters of Gran and Daniel and Nathan the brothers who live in a farm with the later brother deaf and it is good value.

Some of the other characters are not as good value but it is good viewing.

Yeah, I think that's part of its charm. It's not perfect, but it was entertaining.

finished sunderland till i die. i think i liked S1 more
I started on the Juventus one (also on Netflix) after Sunderland. It’s not as good because it has none of that raw behind the scenes footage, it’s too sanitised, but it’s watchable and at least they usually win!

I’m a juve fan so I loved seeing it. I think tragedy is always more interesting though.

Ignore the plotholes and it's great.

S1 also much better than S2.
Doing a basic google/wikipedia search on it, I read that the first season is based solely on the book, while season two is "loosely" based on the second book.
And that season one is from a cable network, while Netflix picked it up and produced the second season.

I would have accepted either point to and assured myself that the first season would be far superior.

Sunderland till i die is fantastic viewing and i am not even a real Soccer lover.

Relegation systems are just brutal and so hard on clubs in struggling times and Sunderland are a big team and it is just a tragic story which makes compelling viewing. The Staff / Supporters and everyone i can literally feel their pain and as soon as they get relegated wages go down etc and star young up and coming players which they need to get back up are swooped upon by higher ranked teams who can offer more money leaving the team they depart in the wilderness and back at square one.

Once the relegation process starts it is doomsday and so hard to get back into the big leagues where profits are much more available to achieve and this story of Sunderland is truly tragic must watch TV.

Reminds me actually of my own team Carlton coming from glory days when i was in my early 20's and then just being a total basket case for over a decade and the fans are the hardest hit sadly. If you support a successful team be thankful and grateful because who knows what lies around the corner.

Sports just rip the heart out of people and it is such a roller coaster.

The woman at the end of the 2nd (I think) Wembley trip. 'Why can't it just be us for once'? The pain.

We think AFL supporters have a tough but some soccer clubs in England can finish mid table for 10-15 seasons, get relegated and spend another 10 seasons trying to get promoted again without playing in any meaningful games at all.
