The story arc of Schitt's Creek is about these very insufferable rich people who lose everything, and then by living in this small town in a motel they find their humanity again. They are insufferable for a reason in the beginning. We watched half of the first season thinking we might stop then all of a sudden we couldn't stop watching it. It becomes a really great series. But I think you need to see them at their insufferable worse to appreciate how their characters change and grow. To me, that was the genius of the show.

Not sure you can make an accurate judgement from 1 episode, hell Breaking Bad was pretty boring for after the first season.

Give it another try and let me know what you think.......the missus wants to watch it, thanks
I've never understood that argument. The first episode of Breaking Bad is incredibly compelling and engaged me in right from the get go!

Watched Four Seasons in Havana, a crime drama released a few years ago and based on books published in the 90s.
Main character is fairly cliched, but is quite likeable.
Veteran cop who chain smokes, drinks heavily, likes the ladies and argues with his boss.

Mainly interesting for being set in Cuba and it's fairly atmospheric.
See the old 50s American cars in the streets and old Soviet type shitboxes the cops drive.

Awesome! Cannot ****ing wait and i loved the original series with Robert Stack narrating it, may not be the same without him as he had such a scary/haunting voice but i love this stuff and documentaries on this subject.

Will put my hand up and say I got it wrong.

No narrator this time which is disappointing.
Do you watch the reruns?

Don't worry, I was the same at the start. I really didn't think I'd last but then it just becomes great.
Ep 3 was really good - with the sign in the town

"Don't worry, it's his sister"

Mrs Cruyff and I died of laughter

Ha! I'm just the same! I keep reading people saying how great it is, but then I read the premise, and think, no, that sounds awful...

Decided to watch The Crown which is a trashy soap covered in glitter but I'll continue watching because the Queen is very attractive in the first two series of the show.

Will admit fully that I got it wrong, definitely worth watching!

Full of heart and the characters do improve for the better, with some genuine moments. No laugh track too.

Hard to find comedies like that nowadays.
