Currently watching The Barrier, set 2045 in a Dystopian Madrid, A Barrier fence separates the Privilege to rest of the population. This is cause by a virus pandemic and then World War 3 in 2020. The have nots, to work on the privilege side must have working papers as well be virus free. Also there is a night curfew. The powerful Privilege rule with an iron fist, you get more than a fine if you are seen past curfew

Yeah me too.

Haunting of Hill House meandered at times but it’s best episodes were utterly brilliant, not sure if this will live up to it, but I’ll get to it at some point.

I've watched 2 episodes and it's quite slow but building. It's definitely well made. Not as many jump scares etc as Hill House, but more going for the atmospheric tension build.

Looking at the reviews it apparently really picks up from episode 4 onwards.

Binged it with the missus, without saying anything spoilery, don't think it's boring, it's just different from season 1 with what they're going for.

'My Octopus Teacher' - documentary about a diver who, over the course of a year diving every day in the same spot, develops a relationship of sorts with an octopus. Really enjoyed this. Unusual and original. It would be remiss of me to give it any score other than... 8/10.

The American Murder one was made more interesting because you knew what happened. Seeing him trying to come off as the worried husband and father. The bit I found interesting was the neighbour when they were looking at his driveway cam. When he was alone with Police he was like 'Oh, he dodgy man'!! He was all over it. But is really one of those WTF happenings, to kill his kids like that, just horrendous (not downplaying killing his wife), but the cold blooded driving of them for an hour to where he was planning to kill them, then killing one if front of the other one... ffs.
