Hall of Famer
I had a colleague in Moscow who was from Newcastle and a Newcastle United fan. He hated Sunderland. I think he got more joy out of Sunderland doing badly than he did Newcastle doing well.

Finished season 2. I agree with the plot holes. And the twist looks to have been written as an afterthought.Ignore the plotholes and it's great.
S1 also much better than S2.
Yeah S2 was rubbish.Finished season 2. I agree with the plot holes. And the twist looks to have been written as an afterthought.
Sunderland till i die is fantastic viewing and i am not even a real Soccer lover.
Relegation systems are just brutal and so hard on clubs in struggling times and Sunderland are a big team and it is just a tragic story which makes compelling viewing. The Staff / Supporters and everyone i can literally feel their pain and as soon as they get relegated wages go down etc and star young up and coming players which they need to get back up are swooped upon by higher ranked teams who can offer more money leaving the team they depart in the wilderness and back at square one.
Once the relegation process starts it is doomsday and so hard to get back into the big leagues where profits are much more available to achieve and this story of Sunderland is truly tragic must watch TV.
Reminds me actually of my own team Carlton coming from glory days when i was in my early 20's and then just being a total basket case for over a decade and the fans are the hardest hit sadly. If you support a successful team be thankful and grateful because who knows what lies around the corner.
Sports just rip the heart out of people and it is such a roller coaster.

Who knows what they signed prior to it being released regarding what content/faces etc could be shown at the producers discretion etc.Really enjoyed it. I was wondering do the fans who feature in it have to give their permission? It just seems a bit odd that the peanut having a go at Chris Coleman after they had been relegated and the bloke who smashes the camera at half time would have agreed for their faces to be on the show.
Why is it so bad? Me and the mrs wanna watch it.White Lines - absolute shit, but oddly enjoyable.
I started it a few days ago. It's been a lot funnier than I expected given I was just looking for something easy as background noise while I work.Watching Schitt's creek at the moment. Only in S1, but its easy to watch and pretty funny.
What’s Tiger King like?
Icarus was very first thing i watched on Netflix the day i got itFinally getting into documentaries thanks to Netflix. Loved the Last Dance, and watched Free Solo and Icarus tonight.
All you bigfooty WADA enthusiasts are probably all over Icarus already but holy ****ing shit. One of the best docos I have seen and a worthy oscar winner.
Free Solo is incredible. One of the best things I’ve seenFinally getting into documentaries thanks to Netflix. Loved the Last Dance, and watched Free Solo and Icarus tonight.

Would you rate it better than " The Dawn Wall "?Free Solo is incredible. One of the beer things I’ve seen
Haven’t seen dawn wall but the guy in That helps him out.Would you rate it better than " The Dawn Wall "?
The guy in dawn wall has a much better story. It's the kind of background you could make a movie out of. The guy in free solo is less likable and has a less interesting life story but is preparing for and attempting something so crazy to most people, it just makes for riveting viewing.Would you rate it better than " The Dawn Wall "?
