I love how he does all the things that priddis never did as it wasnt his job

Im glad its obviously considered to be eliots job
Yeah he does inside, outside, upside down, backwards, downhill and uphill.
But it isn't his role!!!
To be fair, i haven't seen Yeo go backwards all year.

5 Clearances a game!!!

If only more than a handful were quality, dont worry Scott Thompson will give that record a shake as well eventually. Yep he is down on the "nearly there" list. Go Scotty you can do it. Quantity over quality every time.

Scott Thompson on 7 games is a LONG way behind Priddis with his streak of 21 games

Hope you didn't miss that he's also in the 'nearly there' list for games with 10 or more handballs!!!
Just keep racking up those accolades Pridda :) Awesome stuff

He'll get there dont worry. As talked about above I have absolute faith in Walsh's over rating of any sort of contested game that Thompson will get a good run at it.

Oh I didn't miss the handball stat...I marvelled at it...and its relevance to any sort of team success. :)

big white sticks - slightly smaller white sticks off to the sides of them - each end of the ground - the object is to put that sorta off round pigskin thing with the inflated bladder through the big ones if at all possible or the little ones at least.

getting clearances and handballs doesnt achieve this when your clearances go straight to the opposition or poor handballs result in pressure turnovers - that actually aids the opposition with getting the oblong object through their big and not so big sticks

Every fab ' clearance' stat he gets adds to the accumulated steps backwards our midfield is/has gone
Thanks for keeping a tally there for us AFL.com stat-silly people
Awesome
The ' better' priddis does the worse it is for our team and results

This is the most important thread on wce@big footy
Currently midfield woes with more specifically the entrenchment of priddis is the critical deficiency costing us.

' how long can waterman be played '

well if waterman turns out to be a slow plodding hack of a kick who also cant handpass more than 2m with any accuracy and hogs all the midfield time - lets get the thread going now

True. It should be a generic thread not about 1 player in particular just; How much longer can a slow, poorly skilled mid who gets eaten alive on the spread be be played as our main mid. Covers the future.

and the opposition player who was caught off guard by the lead has caught up and spoiled - 50/50 ball - one more stat for the pruddites to froth over and reinforce that hes the only one who gets it - meanwhile old masto who was also calling for the ball - and can kick if he is blocked for and given space is sitting there pulling his pud

Hahaha he'd be bald at the end of the session but they'd still select him!

It's like FFS!!!! Even running drills where he rotates to the designated kicker and he can't execute after all these years... You can stand there with ya clip board and go ' yepp' selected this week
