I think the problem is we didn't bid their exact valuation plus a 10% gratuity for the bother, as any club bidding for a player is apparently supposed to do.
If yes, it did seem that was what he was so offended by. Maybe have Arsene sing a chorus of YNWA as well.

I think Rogers is a bit offended that a number of clubs have classlessly not accepted lowball Liverpool bids for players they want to buy as well. Imagine the nerve.

Problem is Coleen should have left Wayne already lol. I know it's going to take something special to get Rooney to leave England but I just don't want him to join Chelsea because I know he'll star for them and hammer in the goals.
We'll play United on the 26th, with Rooney on the bench and three days later he will sign for us. That's how I see it.

Wenger says he believes Cesc will stay at Barcelona for 'at least' another season and says that that's the information he has. Seems to be in the know, something cooking here? Fabregas to Arsenal return next season?

Wenger is still quite close to him, and did say a few months ago that Cesc would return to Arsenal 'one day'. But I read that to mean in the last year or two of his career, which is still quite sometime away.

Again it's been said before, but with Xavi and Iniesta etc aging, Fabregas has a key long term role to play at Barca in the years ahead.

Taraabt & Remy leaving isn't ideal but was always going to happen. Still expect Redknapp to do something big & possibly stupid during this window.

Maybe Defoe? Would be a downgrade on Remy but if it means that flog Zamora doesn't get a gig I'm for it.

Expect to see Rooney saying "Let me leave" in the next 24 hours. He is not travelling with the squad because of a minor 'shoulder injury', hahahaha, Moyes using the injury card here, good one!

Saw that rumour last night - do you guys even need another RB?

The rumour I saw was Sinclair and Richards (who can play RB can't he?) for Debuchy. Not sure I believe that one personally.

Also who is Di Marzio? His agent? Wasn't the former Napoli manager also called Di Marzio?

And so the French colonisation of Newcastle continues
Just need a French keeper and we could actually field an all French side.

Our old managing director is reported to have said to a president of a French club last year that one day, the French FA will just need to send a plane to Newcastle to pick up their national team :D

Nice to finally sign someone - another striker and I'll be content (though we still could use more depth).

As with Newcastle, things are never always rosy - as soon as we had some good news in the transfer market, it is followed by some bad news that we are now being linked to Downing. :(

Please God no...

Liverpool and Swansea apparently interested in taking young Chelsea CB Omeruo on loan.
We've been linked with a few CB's in that 18-19 year old range, essentially because we need another CB for our U21 side to cover for Wisdom in the event that he spends as much time with the seniors this season as he did last season. I can't see how that would be of any use to Chelsea though, I'm sure they'd probably prefer Omeruo went somewhere where he would be playing regular senior football as he did last year in the Eredivisie.

I don't watch much of the Spanish league, whose the better player, Soldado or Negredo?

I'm expecting Soldado to score more due to being number one striker, but don't know whose the better player.

I would be happy for Omeruo to stay with the squad instead of Kalas(and he go out on loan) as I think he's a very good prospect(as he showed in the Africa cup and Confed cup) and could easily fill in and also play league cup games. Apparently it's Pool pushing this and not Chelsea.

I watch a bit of la liga i prefer Soldado as a CF but Negredio is one of those busy players very dangerous
