As others have said no standing rooms tickets so just buy a seat and then stand. Dockers sell GA tickets but obviously the Eagles don’t. Just checked Ticketmaster and there are GA tickets available for the Rd 20 match Freo v Geel.

Yeah if you want to stand you just buy the cheapest ticket and park yourself behind a block on level 1. Security don't move you unless you're standing in a disabled bay or something like that.

I also found this image which I have circled in red the seats that would be added in to increase capacity by 10,000 whilst not impacting the existing structure. Currently the last row of seats is infront of the roof trusses. It means the extra seats may end up with restricted views.

seems Tourism WA are happy:
Perth Stadium pulling tourists
Tourism Council chief executive Evan Hall said it was encouraging to see a surge in domestic demand, but cautioned many businesses were still doing it tough.

"It is still a real struggle at the moment," he said.

Mr Hall said major events at Perth Stadium were a crucial factor in the increased demand from interstate visitors, with the $1.8 billion venue hosting two AFL finals, English Premier League club Chelsea's friendly against Perth Glory, Test cricket and a Taylor Swift concert during the sample period.

The two Manchester United games this week have had a total attendance over 111,000 OPTUS-STADIUM.jpg
-edit attendance was only 105,500 oh no !
My favourite non Eagles Perth Stadium moment so far has been the Pink concert. The Stadium went big for that one. photo-1548487720-9d3828539043.jpg

I reckon the stadium linemarker needs to find brighter white paint. At ground and watching on tv looks quite washed out.
Different grasses influence this I reckon, and the condition of the grass.
I always found the paint at AAMI always looked fainter than the G.

Went to the dockers/swans game last week and it was like watching Disney on ice, Sydney players especially just slipping over constantly. Not as bad this week but plenty of players slipping. What's the story with the turf?

I'm no scientist but I presume that is possibly as a result of how much rain their has been this month and that the carpark underneath inhibits drainage, obviously there is drainage under the grass but I presume the carpark has something to do with it.
I'm no scientist!
There’s no carpark under the surface. The carpark runs in a ring road under the grandstands, there’s nothing under the surface except the drainage system.

Is it time for Perth to build a 40k capacity boutique stadium somewhere (or reopen Subi Oval) to reduce costs for Freo to play at?

You'd need to expand capacity to around the 36k mark.
Only 36k turned up today for a game they had a good chance of winning when based on Geelong’s shocking form slump. If that is all they can muster up for a clash with the league’s #1 team in a perfect time slot then I would expect WAFL games to outdraw them more often than not pretty soon. 😂
