West Coast a win and the others losses. Sydney is 50/50, but away that screams a game we'll lose and Mitchell absolutely has Nicks number in the box, so while I think we have the better team than the Hawks I don't trust our ability to respond after Mitchell starts making changes to the game.

Last time we beat Sydney at the SCG was 2019. We beat them there in 2018, too (think that was the game with the Seed torp on the 1/4 time siren). Haven't won there under Maffew

Hard to predict though, as this is the best squad we've probably had under Nicks + this is probably the worst Swans have been since 2020, but it's still a monkey on the back

In contrast, we seem to match up well with Brisbane in recent times, so I'm optimistic we can do well against them at home (espeically given their current form)

WCE don't play well here. Tex to ignore players in better positions and kick 7 to stamp his papers for the rest of the season.

Sydney to turn back into peak 2024 form for 1 week only against us. Heeney to kick 5 and tear us to shreds by being literally everywhere.

Optimistically you might give us a chance against Brisbane at home, or Hawthorn overseas but I won't be tipping us. If we pinch either one of these it's "start the car".

I'll predict:
3 point loss to Brisbane at home after clawing our way back late.
then
Comfortable loss against Hawthorn where we're not flogged but also never in the game after not showing up in the 1st quarter.

Should beat West Coast and probably a decent chance against Brisbane. Probably have a chance against Hawthorn (we often show up in away games vs contenders), will certainly lose to Sydney at the SCG.

Best case scenario 3-1, worst case 1-3.
