Yes the narrative pushed by some at the club was that not only they thought we were on the rise but this year’s draft pool ain’t much chop. But pick 2 is pick 2 and your chances of picking up another very good footballer is far higher than having Richmond’s future 2nd. Of all the idiotic trades that we have made this one takes the cake. :stern lookWe are back in our safe place of 17th. Apparently the thought was it's ok to trade our first due to us rising up the ladder in 2025.
We have Brissy next, the Tigers have the Eagles.
The Tigers move onto 12 points next week.
The way I see it now, the winnable games are Rich X 2 and WCE x1.
Not suggesting we win them all . 4 wins is our maximum for the year.
As to what happens then, absolutely nothing. If BF is any sort of guide the masses are happy with the direction of the club.
As the Kurgan said it's better to burn out than fade away. We prefer the latter of course.

Having Richmond's second round pick may force us to pick a key forward instead of another midfielder.Yes the narrative pushed by some at the club was that not only they thought we were on the rise but this year’s draft pool ain’t much chop. Hopefully from his loungeroomBrady is going cold turkey
Hopefully from his loungeroom

Well we have Whitlock, W Dawson, Comben, as young developing talls. Adding another won't speed up the process any. Then there's Goad who's a ruck mid type.
Hopefully a small fwd is available with our first pick at around 25 .
Worst case scenario is we scrape by Richmond and WC, finish the year with 5 or 6 wins
No way we finish ahead of the tigers. At best we go 3/20 like last year. It’s as bleak as it’s ever been sadly.
That would compel the club to make some changes. Hopefully, starting with Brady. My worst-case is we finish 1-22.

We could definitely beat Freo as they can't score.Imo, we'll pull a win out of our arse other than WC, Rich or Melb. Maybe a Freo, Syd or Adelaide win against the odds.
Worst case 1-22, best case 6-17
Clarko would be on thin ice. That would compel the club to make some changes. Hopefully, starting with Brady.

Didn't that happen last year?Had a weird dream that we were playing Collingwood and we were leading by 70pts at half time.
Early in the 3rd Zurhaar takes a specky in front of goal that would of put us up over 80pts.
However he kicks it out on the full.
By the end of the 3rd Collingwood only to trail by 7pts.
We end up losing the game by 70pts.
Woke up thinking I could see North doing this![]()
Pretty much except we only lost by 1ptDidn't that happen last year?
