The next Aaron James.....

We don't seem to have done too well with our pre-season draft picks.

Two questions:

1. What is the recent record of other clubs?

2. Can you predict which dud we'll inevitably pick up? Hotton?

What about a Lawrence Angwin.

He's tall, talented and troublesome.

So long as he doesn't faint in the preseason, you may get one disappointing year out him.

If he was available at the pre season draft I would like us to take a punt on him. He is tall and apparently he has good foot skills and can take a mark. Can play in the forward line and go in the ruck when Darcy needs a break.

Taken with the 7th pick overall in 2000 and if we could get him basically as the last player on our list I would be happy. Rather get him for nothing then trade for some like Brogan.

The awful truth was that we actually took him with a national draft pick.



I would take a punt on Angwin. He wasnt happy in Adelaide but might come good in familiar surroundings in Melbourne.
