Oh and get a decent tall forward to spend the entire pre-season working with Jenkins. Pay Carey or Tredrae a bunch of coin to dedicate some serious one on one time with him.
can I like this twice? not as a forward coach per say but someone in walker and Jenkins ear.
carey was jokingly referred to as the forward whisperer for his work turning around carlise.

If you break down those 11 wins, though, only 2 were against the 9 sides above us. We are flat track bullies.
No doubt, that was the point I was alluding to. Although I wouldn't really buy the 'flat track bully' thing because if we were actually good at it we'd still have made the finals.

100% of St Kilda's wins were against teams that finished higher than them.

Wouldn't that be a luxury, having a good forward who knows how to play as a forward as a forward line coach! Masterstroke!

Oh, wait, is that what we are supposed to have been doing, someone should pass this on to the Crows!

Maybe they could add the idea of a forward coach for the forwards to their new ideas, and attitude.

Treadrea would be awesome.

How about the other days 'Tiser, "How the crows missed out on a brownlow star."

U wot m8? Pretty sure Priddis went through 4 drafts before being picked..
Ranks up there with his Crows missed Pavlich stories, at least the guy we picked instead (McGregor) occasionally played some good footy, unlike Adam Morgan.

Yeah ... and we were also the only club who missed out on Pavlich. What was the name of the spud Port picked up instead of Pav again? You'd have to use Google, because you won't find it anywhere in the Powertiser.

Adam Morgan

Someone brought it up with Rucci once on a Saturday morning and Ruddi then tried to claim that Port selecting Morgan was a non issue because Pavlich was never on Port's radar and the caller then hilariously rebutted "then why were Port trying to desperately get him a the end of 2002 then ?" ........... Crickets

After that I have never heard Rucci bring up the Ken McGregor since.

I was waiting for someone to dare bring this guy up..
Caller to AA saying if Hird ends up losing his coaching spot to Thompson, maybe we should look at Hird..

:D
I listened for 30 seconds the other night and someone was suggesting Terry Wallace. Rowe and Bone both said good idea. I turned the radio off in disgust.

I find it amazing the bookies not only shortened him to 1.40 off the back of a jars rumor, but pushed everyone else beyond $7. I was sure they must gave had word themselves but the fact he is now $6 shows they didn't but just aren't prepared to risk him at long odds.

If croweater78 or anyone else has inside info on the real coach they will have made easy money at the odds that guy would have been at

We'd never land someone like Tredrae as a full time coach. His media job is far too cushy. But forking over some coin to get him to spend 1 on 1 time with Jenkins and any other key forwards just throughout the pre season would be worth every cent.

In terms of full time forward coach to work on structures and game day coaching I don't have any suggestions. I'd give someone like ROK a punt over Bicks though...Bicks has tried and struggled.
