If we'd appointed someone right away you'd be pissed that we took the first person we could get.

As a supporter I find it frustrating. However I feel for all of those people employed in the football department (assistant coaches, development coaches, specialists, boot strappers, physio's etc) that are out of contract. I am sure that they are in a bad place right now, wondering who is going to come on board and if they are going to be part of the new direction.

Hopefully we have an announcement soon.

A common thought on the Trading thread is "How will players agree to be traded to us if they don't know who the coach will be?"

How much more does this apply to assistant coaches!!

If we're announcing a whole panel, we've had our man for some time and with him have been putting the band together.

If not, I sure hope we announce Bass tomorrow & get on with grabbing a great team before the Dogs, Suns, Bombers etc join the race (and then any other clubs replacing Assistants those clubs pinch).
