I will say this also. The media are still annoyed that they were blind sided. Many saying that the AFC were unprofessional and some media outlets are still spreading that mantra.

Make no mistake, AFC IS a professional club. Do you really think they haven't been working on this since the day they lost to Melbourne at Adelaide Oval? Coach(es) has (have) been signed, sealed and delivered.
This lines up with what Rooch said on Vic radio. That if the contract extension were not in place he'd have been gone round 7.

I wonder why he trotted that out to Victoria but trolled Crows fans here. Maybe he got a whisper and wants to look good (for once) infront of his Victorian counterparts.

If it's announced or the media find out that we have Clarkson then there will be a huge frenzy prior to GF. I'm confident Clarkson is our man. He was a first hand witness of Crouch and Danger racking up 40 disposals against his own team earlier in the year.
I hope so too! He will enjoy our young talent we have to offer :)

Once this is all announced, people will realise that the AFC have handled this exceptionally well. It is no mean feat to have kept it under wraps like we they did.

Respect to Sando, but the club had no choice if it wanted to progress to the next level.
All due respect but if you know about this and it's been going on for as long as you say then surely it would have leaked somewhat, not to mention that Roo seems to have been the instigator in sacking sando, he wouldn't have been able to make these decisions earlier, Trigg has left, lots if people in different scenarios now, surely Trigg or someone would have known and it would have leaked, which top level people would be able to make this call and not have Anyone in the media know. Are you saying your source is within the crows or the new coach? There aren't many at the crows that would be privy to this prior knowledge except chapman, Trigg, maybe roo but doubtful using timeframes, you mentioned Melbourne game I believe, so doesn't add up.. Sorry to look like I'm shooting you down, not my point at all, just looking at this from an open perspective, if it's clarko then amazing, pretty obvious it's not longmire and unsure why we would be so pleasantly surprised with Bolton or dew.

Scenario one is the DEFINITE. I said it in the other thread on the day that Sando was sacked and I'll say it again...our new coach is from those remaining in the finals.

Everyone will be shocked. Crows supporters WILL be happy and also VERY proud that their so called "basket case" club has pulled off the coup of the century.
Damian Monkhorst?

Let's just say the make up of the 'team' is very exciting. Open cheque book was used and will now pay off. Expect to play finals next year with a bullet.
Will you close your BF account if you are wrong?

Roo and everyone lied and said we don't have a coach, and then he rang Goodwin to see if he'd apply for a job that wasn't there.

Doesn't make sense.
It makes perfect sense if you're trying to conceal the real candidate until finals are over.

Seriously doubt Clarkson will leave Hawthorn.

I want to believe you. I really really do.

So we are accepting mediocrity again?

At least Sando was very confident when addressing the media.
We've seen the best coaches respond awkwardly in post match conferences, I'm willing to give him a break considering where his team is compared to ours.

I agree Sando was a confident speaker, the words he spoke on the other hand...
