Can someone enlighten on what Clarkson said On The Couch that effectively rules him out?

From watching it he was talking a lot about the future at Hawthorn, a lot of "we are going to do this", we/ us etc.

I'd rather the process of appointing a coach be designed to deliver the best result, rather than the fastest.

I agree. The review and sacking should have occurred earlier to allow ample time to find a coach before trade week.this is basic scenario planning that all businesses need to take into consideration when making big decisions like this.

im not sure but I think he's been turned down too many times and now no one wants to be the club that takes everyone elses off cuts.
apparently he lost out to sando because sando loved our list and burns didn't think that much of our list. now it seems the AFC agree with burns...maybe he should be in the picture?

i think it boiled down to the fact he interviewed crap.

You have to be on the wrong side of 30 to even get that reference (pretty sure it was 92 when we used it). As much as I would love it to be a reference towards our next coach and our future being bright, unfortunately I think you're reading way too much into it !!!

none of the above. We should have planned the timing of the review to allow enough time to recruit a new coach prior to trade week.

so if the player exist interviews were a big factor in tipping things over the edge we should have been doing them before our season ended?

I juts think sometimes when you sit back and look at all the scenarios you can see how the one that is occurring can be justified.
