If it was now Carrazzo easily.

Simpson very worthy as well, how old is he?

Jamo fits the mould perfectly going forward!

dont get me wrong murphy/squibbs would be great but id prefer they concentrate ontheir footy!

Good point. Jack Anthony had a sensational game tonight. Just look at his supercoach points! :thumbsu: :D
I havent had a look, but I would be surprised if he got 10. How bad was he, i cant remember anyone having a worse 10 minute patch than he had in the 3rd q.....ever!

Kouta on the Game Plan saying he thinks Gibbs could be the guy when Juddy hands it over.
Still looks in good nick the big guy.
Seeing him on the panel with Carey reminded me of a game at Princess Park where he tore the Roos apart.

I think Gibbs. Kernas struck a deal with Ross years ago.
He probably isn't ready for a couple years at least but i think he is the most likely. Look at our entire list and strike off all the guys who wouldn't cut it. There's probably five candidates at best.

Things that happen in your mind exist only in the world of make belief. They don't translate to the real world. The club isn't Kernahan's play thing to strike deals willy nilly. :thumbsu:

Simpson will captain us tomorrow, with good reason. Too old to be an option post Judd, but. Don't know why but Murph's never really struck me as the captain type. Not the best media performer.

Gibbs carries himself exceptionally well off the field but on the field you'd want a go who leads from the front. Hasn't shown this yet but he'd be the best bet at this stage for mine.

Lots of people have forgotten about Kade Simpson. As long as he's showing leadership out there, calling players to position, encouraging them, leading by example, etc I don't care how old he is. When Judd came to the club, I wanted Kade Simpson to be captain rather than him... even in hindsight, he still would have made an excellent captain. I won't forgot that round 11 game in 2007 vs Hawthorn, when the half time siren went, trying to get them to lift. No one else was enthusiastic.

Everyone else's head were down. Not his. It was like he was saying "**** them, let's show some resolve".

I am very surprised so many people have picked Gibbs - why? What makes him good captain material? What has he done ahead of Simpson that should give him the nod? I've seen Simpson time and time again throw his body in to win a contest, even in the final few minutes of a match. Not giving up, and rarely being half paced, if ever (especially when the ball needs to be won). Gibbs, unfortunately, has shown himself to be half-paced at times, not being hungry or determined enough. Simpson has for the most part, and I believe this fanaticism gives him the nod over Gibbs for mine.
