So Dylan Shiel never played at GWS either?

Erm, he was on their list and actually played for them?

How is this a hard concept to understand?

Anderson was prelisted as a zone prospect as a 16 year old when they were a TAC Cup team, he left them to return to the NT, then they listed him as a zone priority selection prior to the trade period and instantly traded during the trade period a few years later.

Is Braydon Preuss a former Gold Coast Sun? Is Irving Mosquito a Hawk?

Do we list David Swallow's games in the VFL for GC in his games records? No.
Do we list Dylan Shiel and Jeremy Camerons games for GWS in the TAC Cup in his games records? No.

Both Elliott and Krakeour were pre-listed GWS players and traded, along with other guys like Cam Richardson who was prelisted by GC...

I don't consider the u/18 GWS side part of the team, just like I don't consider an Academy kid part of that AFL club.
Devastating for Alex Carey

I think he might have been joking around

Devastating for Alex Carey

It's a fact of life.

He has never been an AFL listed player, like the 100's of top up players playing for AFL reserve sides at the moment.

I'm thinking either Henderson or Tyson. Both seem on the outer at their current clubs and are probably good enough to play AFL at other clubs. I guess I could maybe see Caddy taking more money at another club too.

The rest:

* Polec - already took a big money deal at North, and is contracted for a while. I think he finishes his career there.
* Miles - can't see a situation like the Suns happening again where a club would be desperate for good VFL players, so when he leaves the Suns that will be it at AFL level.
* Scully - again his contract is fairly long at Hawthorn. I guess maybe he could do a Hodge/Mitchell/Lewis but he's not as good as those guys so again doubtful.
* Hombsch - like Miles is neither young enough or good enough to earn another contract elsewhere.
* Menegola - seems settled at Geelong. Go home factor plausible I guess but they're not usually a club where players regularly leave on their own accord.
* Hamling - left the Dogs because of go home factors - he's probably a Docker for life.
* Lyons - seems pretty secure at the Lions, don't see a go home factor here and he's not that young either.
* Weller - again not good enough or young enough to earn another contract elsewhere. Though I guess he's got enough traits that could see the right kind of suitor going for him? He's also more likely to get delisted in the near future than Miles and Hombsch.

The AFL hasn't had a four-club player since 2013 (I'll see who can name him) but there are plenty on 3. This poll contains (hopefully) all of them.

We'll check back in later down the track and see who's right.

Is it Kyle Cheney?

Another guess, Ben Hudson.
Adelaide, WB, Brisbane and Collingwood.
I think Hudson was the answer the OP was thinking of, yeah. Giles actually beats him though - he went Port (didn't play a game there though), GWS, Essendon, West Coast.

Ruckmen are weird folk. Invariably it's quite easy for 2nd string ruckmen to bounce around a lot as it's a very specialised position.

I'd say Tom Hickey. The most recent ones have been rucks and it's because every club needs 'em. He's at his third club right now, only 28.

Agree Dom Tyson would be a chance too but only if he's willing to play for Gold Coast and even then maybe not.

Hickey >>>> Vardy.

At the moment, Vardy would be closer to the door.

Scully, Caddy & Polec are mercenaries so you would think there is a good chance that they would walk out on their current clubs again if a team offers them a few extra dollars.

Having said that I reckon Tyson might be the one. Could see him heading up to a team like Gold Coast tbh

Would the Roos move on Tyson given his injury interrupted season? And I can’t see another club picking him up.
He's a slow inside mid which they have plenty of. However he's an AFL quality inside mid so there'll be a team out there that would play him.

Reckon Jacob Townsend could be a 5 club player.
