Yeah not happy with that, they must not rate Watson. To make things worse they picked Peppers. Happy with the other two picks though

and Then Traded up and took a TE instead of a QB.

As you say they must not rate any of the QB's that where still Available. Though talk the picks they got for next years draft to try and got Cousins or Garapoolo to be there QB

There is so much conjecture about who is the better prospect; if the Browns can pick up Kizer or Webb in the second round, and he ends up being the equal of Trubisky who went #2 overall, they'd be laughing.

The Browns will have another s**t season then draft a top QB next season, they have an extra first rounder so if they perform better than expected (lol) next season they can trade up to get one... or just continue not getting a quality QB.

That be sad before it turns out to be a Disaster but hope its not this time
If what I've read is true; there's very little separating Trubisky, Watson, Kizer and Mahomes... but it's generally thought the best football played by any of them was by Kizer in 2015.

By spending a second rounder on Kizer they've gotten arguably an equivalent talent but given up less draft capital, and because he's a second rounder there won't be the same pressure on him to start games this season, stunting his development. Best of both worlds. If he flunks the Browns are still in a great position to pick from what looks a better QB crop next year.

49ers did a smart move bringing in Garoppolo, while the Brows stuff up a trade for a worse QB that would have cost an extra pick... our own stupidity made us dodge a bullet imo.

I wonder if someone at the Browns didn’t deliberately scuttle that deal. McCarron is not a starting quality QB in this league. Ultimately they’ll be better off.

Not sure about the 49ers investment in Garropolo either, given he will be a FA next season if memory serves. It would be expensive to franchise tag him, given the high salary paid to the position, and aside from a couple of starts at NE, no-one knows if he’s the answer. If they can see a couple of good games from him then extend him for a reasonable number, it could work out well for them but it’s a risk.

The Browns still suck this season but with all those picks, they just need to hit on a Darnold/Rosen/etc., a WR and a corner and they’re looking good. QB is obviously the first, second and third priority.

I’m interested to see how Kizer goes from week 13 with Josh Gordon eligible to return, and Coleman healthy. They’ll still be better off losing, but a couple of real targets he can just throw to and let them win contested ball... that could really help him because he’s been holding on to the ball too long.

Kansas City and Philadelphia appear to be the best two teams going around right now. NE might challenge KC when the weather gets colder but they’d need to tighten up their defence and now they’ve lost Hightower.
