The NFL's growing popularity in Australia in my opinion is growing at a rapid rate, besides AFL, the NFL is definitely my favourite sport. I first started my interest in the game while playing Madden on the PlayStation and watching it on TV to now playing it locally.

There are many dominant teams in the NFL, none other than power houses such as The Dallas Cowboys with 5 rings, Pittsburgh Steelers with 6, and the San Fransisco 49ers with 5.
There is a massive gap between the lower teams in the league who have been starved of success and who's fans have been through a roller coaster of emotions with mainly heartbreak and disappointment.
And that's where the Buffalo Bills come into it.

Like the Western Bulldogs, they wear the Red White and Blue and also have a logo that looks a lot like ours.

They play in the Western Suburbs of New York, as a small marks team in a city that is dominated by bigger teams such as The Jets and Giants, who are equivalent to a bigger AFL team.
And the Bills have been starved of success for some time, and incredibly in the early 90s they lost FOUR SuperBowls in a row! but have had some amazing players play for the club.

At the moment the Bills have a new coach, a fantastic up and coming team who have playoff aspirations and the belief of a fan base who in my opinion are the Western Bulldogs of the NFL, the Buffalo Bills. So if you're new to the sport and love rooting for the underdog I recommend following these guys! You won't be dissapoined!... Well.. Maybe :p

Dogs season this year is comparable to the 2012 - 2013 Ravens postseason.

So much adversity through the season (Our offseason), just snuck into the playoffs, and then got hot and won the Super Bowl.

... First time I'd ever seen a team I support win it all, almost cried.

If there's a similarity surely it's the South Sydney Rabbitohs. The joy for the supporters after so many years of disappointment and being pushed out of the comp was fantastic.

Ravens & Green Bay are two draft and develop style teams, with Ravens taking unpopular free agents + good drafting and GB just drafts. Would recommend either of those and both have a shot at winning the lot this year. Am a big Ravens fan.

Buffalo is closer to Toronto, Canada than New York city.
Yes I know, I lived in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) for the best part of a year. The Bills are immensely popular in Southern Ontario and even play a home game in Toronto.
