Crying about "escalation" when you're bribing North Korea with oil barrels to add cannon fodder to your front lines is an interesting strategy from Russia.

I wonder what Russia’s response to Ukraine using US made ATACMS to hit Kursk? Won’t be good. Honestly thought there was going to be attempts at coming to a peace agreement, but nope, these mother****ers want to see the world burn.

I’d actually love to know what the average Ukrainian citizen wants now.
Polling was done a few weeks ago. Majority want peace.

Literally no one wants war.

Those opposing Russia are doing it because we don't want countries to be encouraged/appeased/incentivised to invade their neighbours to steal their territory and be "rewarded" with everything they want in a "peace deal".

I don't want China to invade Taiwan.
I don't want India and Pakistan to decide it's time to settle the Kashmir dispute militarily.
I don't want Israel to take the West Bank and Southern Lebanon.
Etc

I didn't think this was difficult to comprehend.

Do you want this war to end? Do you recognise the difference in danger to Europe and the world that those missiles have compared to some North Korean ground troops?

Do you want this war to end?

Yes, of course.

And I want Ukraine to keep all of its sovereign territory and be allowed to have it's freedom and independence ensured.

Do you recognise the difference in danger to Europe and the world that those missiles have compared to some North Korean ground troops?

Yes; the North Korean troops are more dangerous.

I fail to see the equivalence of North Korean troops and long range missiles.
And yet something tells me you'd be crying. Bloody murder about dangerous escalation if the UK or France or the EU put 10,000 troops in Ukraine.

Funny that.

There are already NATO troops in the Ukraine doing various things. There were a shitload of foreign mercs too. Pretty sure those NK troops are in Russia and what is there to be afraid of. They have the same level of combat experience as any conscript.

It's not "the" Ukraine. It's just Ukraine.

And no, there are no NATO troops in Ukraine.

So you'd have no opposition to UK/EU/NATO formally deploying troops to Ukraine then?

The US is part of NATO and they have confirmed that there are troops there. The Russians bombed an old hospital about six months ago full of NATO personnel.

I would object to the UK deploying troops in an official capacity. NATO and the EU will do what they want as they always have.

The US is part of NATO and they have confirmed that there are troops there.

No.

This is straight up wrong.

In fact, it's the opposite of what the truth is.

NATO has refuted this multiple times, because it's a common part of Russian propaganda they use to try and justify their invasion of Ukraine.

Here are some links for you, all recent;

Fact Check: NATO troops are not in Ukraine to operate US missiles.

NATO: Debunking Russian disinformation on NATO

NATO: 'Why isn't NATO sending troops to Ukraine?'

Fact Check: NATO has troops deployed to Ukraine

Let's be clear.

The Russians bombed an old hospital about six months ago full of NATO personnel.

Er... I've been following the war pretty closely and I never saw anything about this. So I just tried to search for any reports that verify this and couldn't find any. The closest I got, especially with your timeframe, is Russia bombing a Children's Cancer Hospital in Kyiv back in July. Nothing to do with NATO though.

So... does this change your opinion at all?

Furthermore, if Russia had killed actual NATO personnel in Ukraine, I'm pretty sure The Warlord would have posted about it approximately 12,000 times in this thread lol.

You honestly believe that?

Yes, and moreover it's objectively undeniable.

Russia has invited and incorporated troops from an unstable rogue quasi-nuclear state and put them on the front lines of the most volatile conflict on the planet.

If you can't admit that is an incredible escalation then you have MCG-sized blinkers on.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has been striking inside Russian territory with drones and missiles for essentially the last 2 years. The only thing that changed recently is the origin country of some of the missiles.

Oh, and let's not ignore that Russia has bombarded Ukraine with missiles at an approximately 20-1 ratio...

Just like you think Biden is still sound of mind enough to be president? Do you also think Reagan was sound of mind at the end of his presidency?

Sigh. Give it a rest mate.

They've killed hundreds of contractors from NATO countries, probably more like thousands.

Huge difference between NATO troops and mercenaries and you know it.

No I won’t give it a rest, denying that the sitting president of America doesn’t have the mental capacity to be president shows that you’re either extremely naive, or worse you know it’s true but will fall in line with the US government assertion that he’s still capable of being president and making decisions that effect the whole world.

You see I can’t just give that a rest, because it is a window into how you think, if you’re willing to look at things objectively or if you just mindlessly follow whatever team Democrat put out.
