Yeah it’s hard. You can get a pretty good idea from reading stuff posted by Ukrainians and then hit translate (love modern technology).

It sucks that we can’t trust the mainstream news because they’ve been caught lying so much. Like everything I see from CNN or Fox I don’t even bother reading. What is the estimated number of refugees? 2 million or more now? Ukraine has 49 million people the number of refugees is going to be huge.

I didn’t think Ukraine could win but I do think that Russia underestimated the Ukrainians willingness to fight them.

The truth is though that in the end the Ukrainian military is no match for Russia’s.

That huge Russian convoy headed to Kyiv reminds me of one of those old horror movies where a person is frantically trying to escape the slow moving lunatic but you know that eventually the lunatic will get them.

As for not worrying about Nazis coz they are only small now, have you ever read Hans Fallada's diaries of 1920s and 1930s Berlin?

Where he details how he and his friends in journalism and politics and the literary scene didn't worry about the Nazis because they were just silly idiots who only got 3 per cent of the vote and yeah sure, they were heavily armed and threatening all kinds of nasty stuff but whatevs.

I didn't finish the book, footy came on, I was baked, left it in early 1933.

Pretty sure it all worked out fine though hey, you can just safely ignore Nazis, that's the lesson of history imo.

This is not the main game. But it's awesome at muddying discussions, which I suppose is why it's such a good propaganda tool. One of the posts above indicates far right support in Ukraine is comparable to other European countries .. so I assume we can expect Nazism to take over those countries as well.

They don’t have to do that because the RUS are blowing up apartment buildings, hospitals shopping centres. The Ukrainians don’t need to lie about where they’ve killed people because the RUS are killing so many that they’re easy to find.

I’m pretty sure the second biggest party in Austria is far right. France has a growing far right political party. Obviously Germany still has a far right. It’s a bit of a worry.
