For sure, but you just had your own mercenary group seize one of your own cities, shoot down several helicopters, get within 200km of Moscow, then have Putin call Wagner traitors and then fully clear them after Belarus’ leader negotiates a deal (likely under Putin’s direction). All within 24 hours.I’m not sure you can make any of those assumptions, take everything that happens out of Russia with a grain of salt.

No matter how you spin it, this exercise in ‘gangland politics’ has made Putin appear incredibly reactive and weak, and had an overt destabilising effect during wartime.
Not sure if they fully took Vorezenh. They definitely took sections of it, but most of the convoys and mechanised units bypassed it to head to Moscow.Don't forget that they actually took TWO major cities, and reportedly caused Putin and multiple high-level government officials to flee Moscow which makes them lose face, too.
They can deny this happened, and I'm sure they will, but the data and reliable reports are out there for all to see.

Still doing the Lord's work in Syria.

They never left.
I get this take for the average person and it didn’t last long, but it was an armed insurrection by a mercenary group that seized an entire city and large parts of another. Hard to spin this as any sort of victory for Putin.Lot of talk for not much
I really really hope no one here had been using this thread as their main way of staying informed about the conflict, because it has been absolutely dominated by pro-Russian propaganda, with a notable 6 month~ gap.
I doubt that pardon will stick though.
This is extremely bizarre
“Exiled” Straight into the arms of a Putin Bestie?Russian oligarchs have “fallen” out of windows for much less. He’s a dead man.
