Western mercs in Ukraine sooking that the Russians can actually fight very effectively - unlike their experience as colonial bullies in Iraq and Afghanistan - is one of my favourites genres.

I suggest doing your own research on this stuff and read from a variety of sources. We all have our biases on this board.Honestly don't know too much about Polands politics sounds like they're the eqivelant of One Nation then.

Respectfully disagree on definitional terms, but this isn't the thread for it, so I'll leave it.Nah man, the parties they talk about there are clearly far-right.
Agreed and I do try to look at a variety of outlets. I've seen more then my share of Russian State TV during the invasion of Ukraine as well as other sources.I suggest doing your own research on this stuff and read from a variety of sources. We all have our biases on this board.
The racist refugees are dirty and bring diseases rhetoric significantly predates Nazism and the contemporary far-right. The rhetoric has more of a medieval lineage to the European treatment of gypsies and Jews, including some ties to the European Wars of Religion in the 16th century. You could probably even go back to the ancient stuff for that type of rhetoric. It runs deeper than Nazism.Kaczinsky used rhetoric last seen in Nazi Germany on his way to winning the 2015 election in Poland.

Stuff like this pretty much common place coming out of Russia
Absolutley, In this case though it's useful as Kremlin has a large amount of power over its media which can be useful to view and see how they're trying to portray things.Always be careful of state media of course. They are even worse than us in their biases.
Some really disappointing Twitter and media commentary on the French riots. Surely commentators are better than ‘all Muslim immigrants are bad’ and ‘France is deeply racist’. The real world is a lot more complicated and nuanced, and the vast majority of people genuinely mean well, bar a small minority.
A relatively high number of Africans migrating and staying for multiple generations in a ‘supposedly deeply racist country’ suggests otherwise. You don’t tend to migrate, stay and lay roots in countries that are extremely racist to you.France is deeply racist man. To its core. I've spent a lot of time there, a lot of time with French people, and the casual and very overt racism directed towards North African people is simply stunning.
As in I have been stunned by the stuff that people I knew very well would say on occasion.

There’s always a vocal racist minority in western countries that makes racism appear a bigger problem than actually is.
Now I know why I left this and the RC thread. Some posters can’t argue in good faith. Ignoring and leaving this thread.
